Pacify And Break With Ease

"By long patience is a prince persuaded, and a gentle tongue breaks the bone."

By calm surrender and patient anticipation without any violence or irritation, we can pacify even a ruthless king. By smooth and humble words, we can soften even the hardest heart. Let us not possess a quick, sharp, dirty tongue that the world is filled with. Instead, let our words be always filled with grace (Colossians 4:6). May our every action be done with utmost patience, manifesting the sign of a true disciple of our Savior Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 12:12).

Be Saturated With His Thoughts

"May he turn our hearts to him, to walk in obedience to him and keep the commands, decrees and laws he gave our ancestors."
1 Kings 8: 58

Let us totally rely on the help of God, asking Him not to let our hearts drift towards evil (Ps.141:4), but wholly inclined towards Him, thoroughly saturated with His Spirit and thoughts, so as to please Him in our every walk and talk.

Cut Down The Foe With The Word Of God

"You have also given me the necks of my enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me."
2 Samuel 22: 41

Let our mouths be filled with the word of God (Heb.4:12; Isa.49:2), which is sharper than any double edged sword so that no evil works, thoughts or plans can ever thrive in our lives, but we can stamp them under our feet and easily overcome them.

Lift Your Heart Along With Your Hand

"Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens."
Lamentations 3 : 41

Let all the emotions of the heart and thirst of our soul go along with our outward expressions of kneeling down and lifting our hands to God in prayer. Let there be no reservations or residue left in us as we worship the Maker and Proprietor of the universe. Let all our desire, love and affection be directed towards Him in reverence and adoration.

Adore Him Along With His Other Creatures

"The heavens will praise Your wonders, O LORD; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones."
Psalm 89 : 5

All creatures and angels of heaven are filled with reverent admiration, praising and adoring the Creator. We, who are cleansed from our sins and made one into God's family, have to highly esteem Him and cherish His grace and faithfulness and intensely love Him.

His Abode With Us Gives Victory And Rest

"Arise, O LORD, into your rest; you, and the ark of your strength."
Psalm 132:8

To be assured of God's presence in us with all His grace and power is so much inevitable, so that when we set forth for a purpsoe, all our barriers will abscond (Josh.3:14-17), all enemies will scatter and retreat before Him, and when we rest, we will have an intimate fellowship with the King of kings (Num.10:35,36).

Be Filled With His Glorious Resources

"I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit."
Ephesians 3:16

To be empowered with divine strength to face and overcome any situation, and to be filled with the fulness of God and to be strongly rooted and grounded in His love, let us be strengthened in our entirety with the glorious perfection of the Holy Spirit

Be Filled With Him To Be All-sufficient

“The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”
Lamentations 3:24

If we have the Lord as our portion and we have our heart filled with Him, then we surpassingly have everything with us more than we need, i.e. we will be all-sufficient, that no trouble can agitate us, and we will be at ease because our total confidence, our share and inheritance is our Maker (Num.18:20).

His Infinite Presence With Us

"I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever."
Ezekiel 37:26

As we reconcile with God, He makes a covenant with us that can never be undone, establishing His everlasting presence among us to bless us until we reach heaven.

Gives Great Harvest With Seed To Sow Again

"He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness."
2 Corinthians 9:10

When we are liberal in sowing, God not only gives us a good harvest with ample supply of our needs, but also will multiply the seed so we can sow bountifully again. God's recompense to our charity will be a blessed heart and power to give more and more.

Strength With Training Wins

"Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle."
Psalm 144: 1

Our Almighty God gives us the potential to prevail against and conquer our rival. It is His strength that helps us to fight back sins and contend for the truth. Power from Him is not just sufficient but we need to be trained by Him because amateurish energy is dangerous.

Cloudless Life With Growing Grace

"He is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings grass from the earth."
2 Samuel 23:4

When Jesus Christ is manifested in our lives and shines into our hearts, all our darkness of sins and tribulations will pass away, the Spirit of God will keep flowing into our hearts and our lives will be filled with the glory of God forever more.

Helps With His Own Hands

"He sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of many waters."
Psalm 18:16

Even if we are going through floods, we need not panic because our God keeps the floods under His control and sends His divine help from above. He grabs us out of any sort of danger with His own hands, out of which none can snatch His chosen ones out.

All Will Go Well With Us

"Say to the righteous that it will go well with them, For they will eat the fruit of their actions."
Isaiah 3:10

God Himself pronounces blessing on the righteous, promising His goodness at all times, in all our relationships and in all our circumstances. He will bless us with the labor of our hands and make us joyful and prosperous (Psa.128:2).

Be Not Two But One With Him

"..whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit."
1 Corinthians 6:17

Let us not be just dead branches of the living Vine, saying that we are united with Christ with just outward declaration and religious rituals. But let us be totally blended with His Spirit so that His thoughts and will become ours, drawing all nourishment from Him. Then we will manifest not our human nature but His love and power in all that we do and say.

Beware Of Men With Futile Conversations And Deeds

"Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of foreigners, whose mouth speaks vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood"
Psalm 144:11

As we seek God's favor, it is also as much important for us to plead His mercy to rescue us from those who are aliens to God, with futile conversations and fake deeds. Let us not trust or rely on them to the least, for their influence on us will be devastating.

If Alive, Be Filled With His Praises

"For the grave cannot praise you, death can not celebrate you: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for your truth."
Isaiah 38:18

Only the dead in spirit can be callous and unresponsive to the works of God in their daily lives and their souls slowly travel down to the eternal pit, with no hope in His promises or His faithfulness. If we claim to be alive, let us acknowledge His bounty and be filled with His praises, always anticipating more favor out of His precious promises.

Our Wants In Contrast With That Of This World

"Many are saying, "Who will show us any good?" Lift up the light of Your countenance upon us, O LORD!"
Psalm 4:6

Man always needs more and more out of this world and is never satisfied with what he gets. But our real riches and joy can be drawn only from the presence of God, which gratifies our soul. Let us discover the love and comfort of His presence. Our longings should always be in contrast with those of this world for though we are in this world, we are not of this world.

God's Covenant With Us And Our Children

"I will confirm my covenant with you and your descendants after you, from generation to generation. This is the everlasting covenant: I will always be your God and the God of your descendants after you."
Genesis 17:7

The Lord God of heaven and earth makes an everlasting covenant of grace with us and our descendants to make us exceedingly fruitful and bless us and our descendants with His inheritance (vs.6-8). God Himself originated the covenant and it will never fail. Let us honor and be obedient to Him as our King and God.

Be Filled To The Brim With His Praises

"Let them praise the LORD for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them."
Psalm 107:31

Let us thank God for His love, grace, mercy, providence and for all His unique nature, thank Him for His wondrous works of creation, salvation, deliverance and sustenance. Let us thank him for everything and in everything because everything is His and without Him nothing can exist. Let our heart and soul be filled to the brim with His praises. Meditating on His goodness all day long will fill us with his praises.
