Spiritual Prosperity Leads To Total Prosperity

"Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers."
3 John 2

Let us feed on the Word of God, meditate it day and night to prosper in our soul and be successful in all our ways (Josh.1:8), thus gaining perfect health and prosperity physically, materially and emotionally.

Our Wants In Contrast With That Of This World

"Many are saying, "Who will show us any good?" Lift up the light of Your countenance upon us, O LORD!"
Psalm 4:6

Man always needs more and more out of this world and is never satisfied with what he gets. But our real riches and joy can be drawn only from the presence of God, which gratifies our soul. Let us discover the love and comfort of His presence. Our longings should always be in contrast with those of this world for though we are in this world, we are not of this world.

God's Favor Overflows Even Unto Our Children

"The children of your people will live in security. Their children's children will thrive in your presence."
Psalm 102:28

God's favor flows on our children when we are charitable, fear God and when we are just and upright (37:26; 103:17; 112:2). God not only promises to bless and establish us but also to conserve our generation. His favor flows on us as a river and overflows down to our children.

The Light That Leads To Life

"..I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."
John 8:12

Jesus Christ is THE Light (not 'a' light) of the world, not to Christians alone but to everyone. But some of us have found Him, while the minds of many are blindfolded. If we follow Him, we will be led to abundant and eternal life, shunning all our darkness of distress, sicknesses and depravity, and being filled with His joy, peace and love, that no one could ever snatch away from us.

Word Of God = Light + Life

"The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it."
John 1:5

Jesus Christ is the Word of God, the Light and Life (v.1-4). When the Word is spoken into our darkened hearts in times of depression or sorrow, we can not be overcome by that adverse situation but can easily overcome any situation. Let us personally enjoy the Light and have Life within us, and pass it on to the world that is engulfed in darkness.

Prospers Our Task Through His Strength

"God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect."
Psalm 18:32

God girds us with infinite heavenly strength and power, making us more than conquerors, subduing our every foe under our feet (v.39). God removes all impediments in our way, making our way clear and prospers all our undertakings. Let us ascribe all our success to the most High God (2 Cor.3:5).

Total Deliverance From Lawful Imprisonment

"Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?"
Isaiah 49:24

Though we justly suffer sorrow, sickness, addictions, curses or other bondages because of our sins, transgressions, habits, genetic disorders or anything else for which we rightly deserve to be punished (50:1), our Saviour and Redeemer promises complete restoration and total deliverance however strong our captivity might be (49:25).
