Get Palsy-walsy With God

"..Bring them closer to me, so I can bless them."
Genesis 48:9

Our heavenly Father calls us to draw near Him to be blessed. As we draw near Him, He draws nigh to us, gifts His presence, announces us His love and grace, enlightens all our darkness and grants all His favor. Let none hinder our access to God. The comforts of His closeness are doubly sweet. Let us not hesitate to come under His influence and inspiration. In Him do we find good pastures.

Blessing Poured With No Prior Signs Or Symptoms

"You will see neither wind nor rain, says the Lord, but this valley will be filled with water.."
2 Kings 3:17

Let us make known to God all our needs, and eagerly await His favor, not inquiring from where or how it will be supplied. Let us make necessary preparations (v.16), actively and largely (Isaiah 54:2), to receive His supplies, not putting limits on His ability. His provision to us will be a deception to the enemy but an ascendancy to us.

Be Piloted By God Into The New Year

"Go! This is the day the Lord has given.. into your hands. Has He not gone ahead of you?"
Judges 4:14

Let us be encouraged to go on with courage and cheer into the new year, as our almighty God goes before us, assuring us of His favor and aid. He prepares the way and guides us along. Let us make sure that He leads and be guaranteed of success and blessings ahead. Let us be shepherded by Him and feel safe.

Reaffirmation of His Presence

"I am God.. do not be afraid.. I will go down with you and I will surely bring you back again."
Genesis 46:3,4

We now and then need God's reassurance of His love, care and presence as we journey on this earth. If we ask God, He always reaffirms His covenant to us. He promises to go down with us until death to bring us up again to glory. Let us not be afraid to go forward into the new year or anywhere else where God wants us to go. He is always there with us through our everything.

Universal King - Monarch of Our Lives

"For God is the King of all the earth; sing to Him a psalm of praise."
Psalm 47:7

The sovereignty of God is universal. There is no restraint to His power nor any restriction to His reign and supremacy. If we let the universal King rule our lives and hearts, we would worry over nothing but always will sing His praises, relishing each and every word that we sing. Our hearts and heads will go with the song, exalting Him, who alone is worthy of praise.

Wise Men Seek God

"Where is the newborn King..? We saw His star.., and we have come to worship Him."
Matthew 2:2

If at all we are wise, we would seek God diligently everyday with eager expectation, inquiring anxiously of Him, searching the Scriptures, as the wise men did. We would bow down before the King of kings to worship and adore Him, pay Him our vows and lay all that is valuable to us at His feet.

Our Personal Boon

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given.."
Isaiah 9:6

Our Almighty God considered nothing of Him and took the form of man, bringing glad tidings to us. He came down for our personal benefit, to make us His own, to enlighten all our darkness and give us joy and peace. Let us love Him with a child's love, consecrating us wholly to Him and avail all His merits and favor. He is a personal boon for us from heaven, but how personal is He to us?

Internal Healer

"Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them: and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth."
Jeremiah 33:6

We serve a God who can rehabilitate us from all our wreckages. Most of our injuries are internal, for which we need an internal Healer to heal and bind all our wounds. He not just heals, but restores to us perfect health and shows us the way to walk in perfect and permanent peace and stabilizes us with His truth.

Neighbours' Envy, God's Pride

"..God will rescue His people, just as a shepherd rescues his sheep. They will sparkle in His land like jewels in a crown."
Zechariah 9:16

We are unique children of God, sheltered and cared, held in high regard and treasured by God Himself. His care for us will draw others' attention towards the Lord who honors and cares for us and even our foes will see the anointing of the Lord upon us. Let us humble ourselves enough to be a sheep in His flock.

God's Special Presence Abides With Us

"My Spirit remains among you, just as I promised.. so do not be afraid."
Haggai 2:5

God's Spirit of strength and courage, of wisdom an understandng abides with us to strengthen, inspire and aid us to carry on His purpose and work in us. Hence there is no reason for us to fear any opposition, hindrance or discouragement. Let us be strong enough to accomplish His purpose in our life because His special presence is always with us.

Recognition Instead Of Condemnation

"..I will rescue the lame and gather those who have been scattered. I will give them praise and honor in every land where they were put to shame."
Zephaniah 3:19

The Lord will heal all our infirmities and remove all our defects, commend us and give us a title, where we were once condemned and unknown. He will make us valuable and beneficial, where we were unfitting and useless. Instead of all the shame that we experienced, God will give us glory and honor. Let us not be disheartened.

God Bestows All Wisdom And Ability

"..You have given me wisdom and power, You have made known to me what we asked of You.."
Daniel 2:23

It is God who gives us the courage of mind to daringly face any critical situation and it is He who strengthens our faith in prayer to receive what we ask for. He gives us the intelligence and capability to tackle anything around. Let us render all thanks to God for all His tributes to us because none of our talent features to be our own but His.

Praises And Vows To God

"Praise awaits You, O God, in Zion; to You our vows will be fulfilled."
Psalm 65:1

Infinite and dearest are God's mercies to us to be forgotten. When we are filled with His intense love, we would be awestruck to express our esteem for Him, and praise Him in quietness, recollecting all that He has done for us. Let us also not forget our vows to Him but renew them. Beginning a day with praises to God brings us a dewy freshness, and continuing His praises all through the day fills us with high spirits and acclivites our thoughts.

Instant, Thorough And Lasting Liberty

"Now I will break their yoke from your neck and tear your shackles away."
Nahum 1:13

The Lord promises us an instant and total rescue from our oppressor. He will not just detach his yoke off from us but break it off to pieces. He will not just undo his knot but blow it up to nothing so that the subduer can never again return back to us. We can no longer be bent down by his burden nor be fastened by his cord. The Lord assures us a thorough and permanent liberty.

Elevator Of Our Heads

""..You, O Lord, are a shield around me; You are my glory, the One who holds my head high."
Psalm 3:3

God is our protective covering, guarding us from any harm that is propelled against us. He is the One who raises us to all honor and glory. Though we hang down our head in sorrow at present, He will soon lift it and hold it up forever. He will lift up our heads by elevating our disgrace to respect, our ailment to wholesome, our mourning to joy and all our declines to ascents.

Glorious Triumph

"I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously.."
Exodus 15:1

Let us all join in the song to sing God's praises. Let us honor and exalt His name and celebrate His victory. He does wondrous things out of ordinary sequence of nature, in unexpected ways and in an unbelievable time. Let us feel relieved, for He has taken away all burdens from our shoulders, extoling His power. He has fought our battle and won, and always will.

Hear The Echo Of His Voice

"One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard: that You, O God, are strong."
Psalm 62:11

God speaks once and it is done. He is unchangeable over what He has said. So there is no need for Him to repeat. But we need the ear to hear the echo of His voice again and again. All strength and ability required to defend and save us, belongs to God. When all else fails, His power will never fail. Let us be encouraged to trust His power alone at all times.

More Blessed.. More Accountable

"..when someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required."
Luke 12:48

God wants us to be loving, caring and responsible servers of Him. We need to be faithful with whatever work we are delegated. God has placed some people under our custody, expecting us to love them with the heart of Jesus. We are accountable to God for all whom He has entrusted with us.

God's Unchangeableness - Our Anchor

"I am the Lord, and I do not change. That is why you ..are not already destroyed."
Malachi 3:6

We live in a diverging world where everything - from material to men keep changing. Nothing stays as it used to be. But our infinite God never changes a bit. He can never change His love and purpose for us. He always abides by His covenant. His unchangeableness is our great anchor. He will never let us perish but defend us amidst any dangerous circumstance with His everlasting love.

God will wipe away all tears..

You will weep no more. He will be gracious if you ask for help. He will surely respond to the sound of your cries.
-Isaiah 30 : 19.




Our father God longs to wipe away all our tears and be amiable to the voice of our call on Him. He will always answer us speedily or eventually later, but in His time and in His way. He is watchful of all our needs and knows when and how to provide. Let's rest assured of His response.

God leads us

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them & make the rough places smooth.

With God as our leader,all obstcles in our path will be removed. All that are antagonistic & injurious will be ousted out & will be carried by Him through all our difficulties.

Lord's hand is lifted high

O Lord,your hand is lifted high,but they do not see it.Let them see your zeal for your people and be put to shame. Isa 26:11.



The grandeur and kindness of our Lord is no doubt, apparent to us. All who hate God and His children will be brought to perceive and admit His favor to us. The Lord is zealously influenced to us & is greatly concerned about us. His indulgence,regard and benevolence to us will greatly disappoint our foes.

Warmhearted To Embrace The Fading Ones

"He will not crush the weakest reed or put out a flickering candle. He will bring justice to all who have been wronged."
Isaiah 42:3

We may be feeble, with no courage to face the odds of life. God will never aggravate our sorrows but be warmhearted to embrace us. He will not extinguish our fading radiance and glory, but nurture, preserve and enlighten us. He will always be faithful in bringing forth His justice to us.

Shout Voices of Victory

"The Lord will march out like a mighty man, like a warrior He will stir up His zeal; with a shout He will raise the battle cry and will triumph over His enemies."
Isaiah 42:13

Let us start praising God, for He has already risen with a rush to prevail and beat down His foes and deliver us. He frightens His adversaries with His shout of victory. Let us raise up our voices together with Him, being brave enough to yell out voices of praise and celebration, even before our Conqueror puts His foes to silence and shame and make victory ours through Him.

Do Not Act. Let God Act

"..Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again."
Exodus 14:13

When there is no hope or courage in us and when we feel blown away, the Lord prompts us not to fear, quit crying, moaning or attacking and just be quiet, wait for Him and watch His move for us. We need to let God have our situation in His control. He will find a way to bring us out of it as more than conquerors.

Healing in His wings

"for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings and you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall." Malachi 4:2.The healing rays that extends from Christ heals all those who fear Him.No sin or sickness or bondage can escape from His healing rays. Everything adverse in our life wil be made favourable and we will leap for joy like calves released from the stall.

Our Era In His Hands

"My times are in Your hands; deliver me from my enemies and from those who persecute me."
Psalm 31:15

All events of our life from birth to death, all our ups and downs, all changes and seasons are in God's control, at His disposal, aligned by Him for our good and for His glory. Nothing can happen to us without His permission. But we are persecuted by people around us by their words and deeds, for no reason. It is God who only can deliver us out of their mouths and hands.

When Men Backbite..

"..my enemies speak against me; those who wait to kill me conspire together.. But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise You more and more."
Psalm 71:10,14

There are men waiting to backbite us in our hour of deprivation. Yet let us not lose heart but put our hope in God continually. When we cannot delight in our present situation, let us look forward to what is going to be ours and celebrate it. Let us be overjoyed and praise God more and more with the assurance of His interposition in our behalf to make us soar higher.

DAD, I am insulted

"Consider, Lord, how Your servants are disgraced! I carry in my heart the insults of many people. Your enemies have mocked me, O Lord; they mock Your anointed king wherever he goes."
Psalm 89:50,51

We may already be going through a tearful, wretched state of affair, quietly enduring and swallowing every grief, when our mockers further hurt us by openly casting strong criticism straight to our face. But our Lord is never forgetful or unattentive to any of the dirty digs of their teasings. Let us just plead with God to consider our situation. He will never stand to see us insulted.

Our Vigorous Defender

"I will save you from the hands of the wicked and redeem you from the hands of the cruel."
Jeremiah 15:21

We often are being hurt and feel so painful. We are ill-treated and depraved of any respect. But God is always with us to save and deliver us or carry us through it all. We are the license-holders of God's protection, security, power and help. Though all these painful scenes may make the scene frightful, God is with us to vigorously defend and cause rest to us but unrest to our pitiless offenders (50:34).

Our DESIGNER

"From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of My hand. No one can undo what I have done."
Isaiah 43:13

God is unchangeably the same from even before the creation of the first day. Only His designs for us will be accomplished in our lives. He can always deliver us no matter what our circumstances are. None can hinder or resist Him from saving us or from destroying His rivals. Let us therefore fall with His plans and go on with the progression of His layout and not ours.

Easily And Always Accessible

"In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence."
Ephesians 3:12

We actually are privileged to be gladly received and heard whenever we approach God. We also are assured of His loving response. It is indeed a precious gift to approach Him with all our problems, sorrows and loneliness. All that we need is not just a mental consent but a strong faith to surrender our everything at His feet and be at ease. Let us not fail to make use of this accessibility.

God's Answer Is Terrible

"You answer us with awesome deeds of righteousness, O God our Savior, the hope of all.."
Psalm 65:5

God hears our prayers and answers in ways that inspire awe in our hearts. His favor is manifested in ways that terrify us and the display of His righteousness will cause fear. But all that seem terrible will turn out to be a blessing to us. Whatever He grants us in His love will do no harm to us. Let Him alone be our HOPE.

Befriend Your Soul

"Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the Lord has been good to you."
Psalm 116:7

Speaking to our own soul, asking it to be at ease and to praise God, not forgetting His favor, strengthens every single cell of our body. Let us not yearn for sombody else's companionship but befriend our own soul, and say unto it not to be downcast or disturbed but to put all hope in God (Psalm 42:5)

Do Not Delay, O Lord

"I am poor and needy; come quickly to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; O Lord, do not delay."
Psalm 70:5

We actually have no resource but in God. Our needs are untold, our insecurity gigantic, our duration brief and our case urgent. But we have our universal Provider to contribute for all our cause, our great Rescuer to save us from all havocs, Our Lord God to hasten to help us in His time (Isa. 60:22) and the Pleader of our cause to take out of our hands the cup of tremblng (Isa. 51:22).

Safeguard Around And Within

"I Myself will be a wall of fire around it..and I will be it's glory within."
Zechariah 2:5

The Lord places a hedge of protection around us to shield us and our belongings from being harmed. For His glory to be revealed from within us, we should limit ourselves within His fencing because 'over all the glory will be a canopy' (Isaiah 4:5). All that is glorious and honorable for us needs God's protection.

Be Wrapped

"He will cover you with His feathers. He will shelter you with His wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection."
Psalm 91:4

We need to hide ourselves in the Lord for our solace and defense. We are weak and helpless but the Lord helps us overcome even our thickest battle. We are promised great security even in the midst of a brimming crisis. His flawless promises are our strength and support at all times and circumstances, preserving us from ruins and destructions. Let us take refuge under His wings and be richly rewarded for it.

Hang Upon God

"We wait in hope for the Lord; He is our help and our shield."
Psalm 33:20

No matter what our situation might be, God is our help and our all in all. Let us be dumb and unemotional, awaiting His divine interposition. Let our everything hang upon God. Let us totally rely upon Him for all that is hoped for. He is our aid when none else is or can be and He is our defence when we can not defend ourselves.

Place Your Security With God

"..blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him."
Jeremiah 17:7

It is indeed a blessed experience to place our security with the Lord. He strengthens, supplies, defends, delivers, guards and guides us. His burden on us is light and His grace is sufficient for us in all walks of our life. Our life is uncertain and far beyond understanding. Let us totally rely on Him and we will never be ashamed or disappointed.

Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you

Throughout the book of Jeremiah, we see the disturbing glimpse of Jeremiah's mind.He quarrelled, reproached & outbursted with God.He wished he were dead.He accused God of being unreliable.But God offered no sympathy,Rather He kept reminding of His promise to stand by him in his everything.

You will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by

"You will surely forget your trouble,recalling it only as waters gone by".Job 11:16.Running waters are gone forever.So, will be our trouble.The Lord does a new thing in our life.It springs up now.He makes way in the desert and streams in the waste land.He wants us not to dwell in the past but come out of it and enjoy His new blessings. (Isa 43:18,19).

I will Fear No Evil, for You are with me

"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me"; we, children of God go

through times of danger and difficulty as all others in the world do. But because we belong to the Most High, we will not be destroyed, when we pass through any such stress or torments. we dont need to panic at any plague because the Good shepherd is always with us to protect and guide us in the proper way to life.

Be Content To Be Ignorant

"..I don't concern myself with matters too great or too awesome for me to grasp."
Psalm 131:1

God's providences to us are astounding, and stupendous are His exertion of love, grace and redemption. But there are things that we know nothing about and things that exceed our knowledge (Job 42:3). Those are purposefully hidden for us by God. Let us therefore be content to be ignorant of things not clearly revealed to us. Certain positions that seem great to us may be unfit for us. Let us not seek to attain higher statures unless until the Lord takes us onto it. Let us be humble enough to agree that we cannot handle everything and be cautious not to pronounce our opinion on things out of our reach.

Unbeatable Power And Fresh Showers

"..You have made me as strong as a wild ox. You have anointed me with the finest oil."
Psalm 92:10

God strengthens us with unbeatable power, enabling us to overcome all opposition. Though now we might seem to be inferior and degraded, He will exalt us in due time and set us among princes. His strengthening will be accompanied with refreshment and honor, inspiring our inner joy and comfort. He rains down fresh showers of favor, so that we always feel renewed. Let us wait in His presence everyday to be strengthened and anointed.

Arise, Trample, Conquer

"Arise and shine..for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thine hoofs brass.."
Micah 4:13

God commands us to arise from the dust in which we are lying i.e. from all our worries and weaknesses, cast the enemy to the ground, trample him with the dust and conquer everything that is ours through Jesus Christ. He will be a powerful Helper on our side, giving us power, authority and strength to conquer and gain complete victory over satan and all his works.

Double Bliss

"Return to your fortress, O prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you."
Zechariah 9:12

Let us never be soaked up in our guilt but look up to God, our Stronghold, from whatever pit we are in. He never fails to be gracious to us. Even when our circumstances seem unpromising, He will come for our rescue. In Him we not only have the sure hope of deliverance but also a double portion of joy, peace, comfort and twice as much good as we have suffered evil.

Be Paid - No Vain-laboring

"They shall not labor in vain..for they shall be the offspring of the blessed of the Lord and their descendants with them."
Isaiah 65:23

We are the seed chosen and blessed by God, raised up to serve Him. May all our thoughts, deeds and words be pleasing to Him, bringing glory to His name. He in turn blesses us and our children with temporal and spiritual favor that none can devour. He blesses the labor of our hands and we will not be worn out. None of our undertakings in the Lord will be worthless or empty.

Be Lead Gloriously

"He guided them with the cloud by day and with light from the fire all night."
Psalm 78:14

Let us accredit God to set the agenda for our life. Let Him lead and guide us, illuminate our pathway (Ex.13:17-22) and shield us from our enemies (Ex.14:19,20). Following Him will keep us from followng our human impulses and promptings. May He lead us to glory (1Kgs.8:10), guiding us by His Word (Jer.5:14). When we have a wonderful Saviour to lead us gloriously, why choose to be lead by our own human perceptions?

Highest Possible Peace

"..the peace of God which trascends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:7

Perfect peace is from God and never from the world (John 14:27). So it is inevitable that we have a fitting alliance with God, confidently committing all our charge to Him. Let us not carry our own baggage but leave everything to Him in prayer. Our God of peace will keep our hearts and minds from all concerns, anxieties and agitations and fill us with the highest possible kind of peace.

God Upholds And Uplifts Us

"The Lord upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down."
Psalm 145:14

God looks upon us when we are weak, neglected and scorned, to brace, strengthen and help us stand. He nurses and fetches us up when we are bowed down with disgrace and distress and subdued by burden, stress and pressure. He fills our hearts with ease and helps us raise our heads with courage. Great is His love that He bends down to lift up the bowed ones and stoops down so that the feeble might lean on Him to stand straight.

From Annoyance To Abundance

"You let men ride over our heads, we went through fire and water, but You brought us to a place of abundance."
Psalm 66:12

We may see men riding over our heads, dominating, oppressing and trampling on us. We may go through overwhelming discomforts, toils and trials. But let us not be disheartened. We will not be immersed or charred but will eventually outshine all hardship and be brought unto green pastures besides still waters, where we will find rest and refreshment and will be enriched with all goodness from God.

Test A Man By His Character

"By their fruits you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?"
Matthew 7:16

Let us not be drawn by the external works or conversations of men. Men with fruit of faith, holiness, peace, joy or comfort are to be admired but those who prick and pierce, giving pain and agitation to our soul are to be eluded. Let us not expect any good fruit from such evil breeds.Though the flowers are pretty, leaves so colourful & barks so elegant, it is the fruit that determines.

I Shall Not Be Moved

"I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken."
Psalm 16:8

When the honor of God and the execution of His mission is our exclusive target, we can constantly feel His companionship, consent and care. No threat or terror can affect our relationship with Him or our progress in life. Let us therefore foresee the Lord before us in all our whereabouts, in all circumstances, in each task that we do and in all our pleasure. May our eyes be rigid to turn only unto Him at all times.

Assured Reward For Our Sincerity

"Then men will say, "Surely the righteous still are rewarded; surely there is a God who judges the earth."
Psalm 58:11

God who presides over all human affairs sustains the righteous and opposes the wicked, though it may not seem so at present. No affair that happens to us comes by fate but by God's plan and purpose. Let us wait patiently for His divine intervention, which will surely be favorable to us. Let us never giv up but be strong, because we will see our sincerity being rewarded. We still have a future hope which will not be cut off.

See More Evidence Of God's Power

Our omniscient God monitors us even when and where human eyes do not notice us. Nothing about us is undisclosed to Him. He sees all our in and out. He knows more about us than we know of ourselves. We never need to feel alone or ignored because God is behind our every single activity. He who has begun His good work in us will carry it on to completion. He who has dealt with us miraculously will deal with us with more abundant and precise evidence of his eternal power and Godhead.

Desire, Believe, Take Possession

"..great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.."
Matthew 15:28

A desire to be delivered out of our problems, whether it be sickness, debts, conflicts, etc. is the first requisite for a remedy. Any hinderance on our way to receive our benefit should not brush us off but keep us moving forward with faith to acquire it. Let us not be discouraged over any delay. Faith with persistent prayer and humility will help us reap the fruits of our wish.

Will Spring-time Come?

"As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease."

Genesis 8:22

No human prudence can ever change a season. It is God's divine omnipotence that causes the break of a day and set of the sun. He who keeps His promise to the earth will keep His word to us. He who brings wonderful changes in the seasons will never forget to revise our term. His promises and purposes for us will prevail. Let us expect changes and believe that everything would be for our good.

Beware Of Traps

"Free me from the trap that is set for me, for You are my refuge."
Psalm 31:4

Someone around us always wants our fall. They either try to conquer us by force or ensnare us by being foxy. Their plot will be to crash our marriage, studies, job, finance, character, etc. Let us call on God, our Sustainer, who only can save our neck from any entanglement.

Rest For The Soul

"Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the Lord has been good to you."
Psalm 116:7

When anxiety messes up our spirit and when sorrow annoys our mind, let us seek to find rest in God alone, from whom we have tasted the blessed solace in our past. So when we are agitated again, let us turn to Him who attends to us with the highest tolerance and consideration, no matter how many times we go to Him. He always deals with us magnanimously, supplementing His love for us, thereby easing our soul.

Enjoy New Life

"..if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come."
2 Corinthians 5:17

If we are unified with Christ, deriving all our livelihood from Him, we will undergo a drastic change in our life that would transform us into a new person with new intentions and principles. All our former pride and self-dependence will vanish and everything will be reformed. We will be fresh with new lively hopes and move forward with joy that nothing in this world can give us. Let us get hooked up with God and enjoy the new life.

God Sees "Me"

"..You are the God who sees me.."
Genesis 16:13

God is omniscient. He has a total knowledge of the human race and sees the whole lot of people on the earth.But He places a very close, attentive look on us, as if there is nobody else for Him to look at. He examines even our thoughts and imaginations.He sees our tears and sigh. He sees our troubles and our needs. What a privilege to know that God's look is singled out on us, never forgetting or missing us out!

Replace Radiance For Darkness

"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you."
Isaiah 60:1

To recover out of our ignoble and deadly condition, God beckons us to get out of all our dust and be enlightened by His presence so that we can enjoy light ourselves and impart it to others. He is ready to replace all our gloomy darkness with His radiance. We who were once lost in darkness will now become light ourselves, for God will be our dawn and splendor.

Recognition In Place of Criticism

"Instead of bronze I will bring you gold, and silver in place of iron. Instead of wood I will bring you bronze, and iron in place of stones. I will make peace your governor and righteousness your ruler."
Isaiah 60:17

When we trust God alone to be our evrything, He will be all-sufficient to us, replacing our worthless stuff with precious ones, unimportant with significant and feeble with potent. We will gain recognition in place of criticism. Our glory will be His honor. Not only that, He promises that we will be dominated by peace and righteousness and there will be no more oppression.

A Thorough Wash

"..As waters break out, the Lord has broken out against my enemies before me.."
2 Samuel 5:20

We often find rivals coming up against our progress in life - to discourage, irritate, change our focus, cause pain and finally make us feel defeated. Let us focus on the facets of God and not on the attack on the attacker. Let us rely on the strength and counsel of God and not on ours. He will thoroughly knock out any attack like the force of waters breaks even the banks of the rivers and carries away all that hinders it's course of flow.

Face Any Challenge With God

"Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I set my face like flint and I know I will not be put to shame."
Isaiah 50:7

We need a mind to endure any degree of pain and the courage to face any challenge. Whatever disrespect and hatred we may face, God assures us of His comapanionship. Let us never be frightened to face the opponent, because God will be our help and our end will never be a disappointment but a great delight.

Never Alone

"Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted."
Psalm 25:16

Though God has promisd to be with us always, we at times feel solitary, forsaken and wretched. The fact is that though we are surrounded by a crowd of people, we rely totally on God as if we have none. So when God keeps silent, we feel abandoned. But let us never feel let down but keep calling on Him again and again. When He turns to us, no matter who turns away from us. He is the One who can understand the depth of our solitude. Let us pour out our thoughts and feelings to Him and wait for His mercy and grace.

In God We Live, Move And Be

"..in Him we live and move and have our being."
Acts 17:28

God is the source of life and He upholds evreything concerning our life, including the bounds of our habitation (v.26). He knows all our movements and even understands our thoughts.He knows our words even before we utter. He very well knows our frame of bones from head to toe whether inetrnal or external. But we do not even the very next step God has in plan for us. So let us submit to His purpose and be at rest.

Easily Helps Us Out

"..Lord, there is no one like You to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, O Lord our God, for we rely on You.."
2 Chronicles 14:11

To call on God during our difficulty is the wisest thing to do. There is nothing hard for the Lord. He can get us out of our gigantic problem as easily as a petty one. He can provide us with extremely large favor as easily as a penny. He can heal our monstrous disease as easily as a head ache. Let us just pray and rest on Him.

We Will Be Aggrandized

"..Praise be to the God..who sent His angel and rescued His servants; they trusted in Him..and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God."
Daniel 3:28

Let us entrust ourselves totally to God's charge and care and be determined not to disregard Him in any footing. This determination will at last gain dignity of the rival. The same men who chose to tear us down will choose to aggrandize us. We serve a God who is able to sustain us from all troubles and deliver us marvelously.

Supersede Rue With Grace

"..bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair."
Isaiah 61:3

The Almighty God affords us a great trade, i.e to withdraw our ruins and carcasses and dignify us with charm and delight. His plan is not to promote the lofty but to bestow unfathomable favor on His depleted ones. Let us not lose heart even if we are disfigured with agony. The Lord will interpose with His abundant mercy to supersede our rue with His grace

Enjoy His Presence, Favor And Communion

"..You have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life."
Psalm 56:13

We are surrounded by men who try to swallow us up and fight with us every now and then. But God knows our every step and counts our every tear. When we call out on God, our rebels will turn back. When we trust God, we need not dread men. He graciously rescues us from all hazards and retains us from taking any wrong way so that we may walk in the way that pleases God and enjoy His presence, favor and communion.

Elevation And Expansion

"..He lifted the needy out of their affliction and increased their families like flocks."
Psalm 107:41

God respects our afflictions and does not ignore them (22:24). He raises us out of our depressions and defends us. He never lets us break down but encourages us. He never lets us feel deserted but loves and befriends us and incorporates us into families and plugs us with harmonious people. He then blesses our families and multiplies and glorifies us.

Blockers Terminated

"No man will be able to stand against you. The Lord your God, as He promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go."
Deuteronomy 11:25

When we love God and walk in His ways(v.22), nothing can stop our progress. He will bless all the works of our hands. He will help us beat down those things that resist our advancement and wipe them off totally so that they will never be remembered or even made mention of any more (7:24). Men who see and hear of the amazing things that God does for us will be alarmed of us. Anything that blocks our betterment will be terminated.

Flourish By His Grace, Take Root With God

"I will be like a dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily. Like a cedar of Lebanon he will send down his roots."
Hosea 14:5

We need the downpour of God's grace to survive and grow. But God does not pour down His grace and favor once for all, but day by day so that we are renewed each day and feel refreshed. This favor should help us demonstrate His pure love and fragrance to others around and keep us deep-rooted with God so that we can never be moved by any trials or tribulations.

Be Ecstatic Parents

"His soul shall dwell at ease; and his descendants shall inherit the earth."
Psalm 25:13

The fear of God (v.12) makes us fearless against any other apprehension and makes us abide in comfort, peace, joy and safety even amidst our pains. We will also cherish the abundance of all good things spiritually and physically. When our children are God-fearing, God will bless them with health, wealth and success and establish them. He will make us ecstatic parents, with no need to bother about the sustenance of our children because He will take total care of them.

Declare And Acquire

"..I believed; therefore I have spoken.."
2 Corinthians 4:13

If we believe in God and His ability, we have to express our trust in Him by speaking it out. If our heart is filled with faith in Him, our mouth should declare it so. When God spoke, it was done; when He commanded, it stood fast (Psa.33:9). Our words of faith too has the power to accomplish. Let us strongly believe in the promises of God and profess them aloud in times of need and distress. Let us rely on God and speak out our faith in Him with no doubt or hesitation.

Survival Of The Deadliest

"..the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were."
Romans 4:17

We serve a God who created lives on earth when there was none. He can perfectly guarantee the existence of things that do not exist, as though they already are an actuality. He is the One that declares the future before it even happens (Isa.46:10) and knows about all His works right from the beginning (Acts 15:18). Even when things seem impossible to us ,God can make it a reality.

Sweetest Blessing Out Of Our Hardest Woe

"..you would be fed with the finest of wheat; with honey from the rock I would satisfy you."
Psalm 81:16

Our Father God who spared not His Son Jesus Christ, who is our Bread of life and our Rock of salvation, will spare nothing precious to us when we are acceptable to Him. He will satisfy us with the sweetest blessing out of our hardest woe. He knows what would be pleasant, dearest and best for us and bestow it on us in His time.

God Refines And Then Sets Everything Right

"..you will weep no longer. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry; He hears it, He will answer you."
Isaiah 30:19

There are times when we do not understand what is going around and why such awful things befall in our lives. But God permits certain scenes in our lives to capture our attention, fashion us to His design and turn us totally towards Him. Once this is done, He bounces to hear our cry, wipe our tears, strengthen us and set everything right.

Commit Our Breath To God

"..may the Lord value my life and deliver me from all trouble."
1 Samuel 26:24

Let us never expect justice, love and care from men but from God. We ought to respect, pardon and care for others but be wise in our dealings with them because we are as sheep among wolves in this world. Though we do not need to fear men, we need to be prudent. Let us pray that our life is precious to God who controls everything. He will never forsake or let us down but make us triumph and do bigger things for Him.

Short-lived Grief But Long-lasting Joy

"..There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while."
1 Peter 1:6

Our hearts may be so heavy with extreme grief that penetrates deep within our soul and the heaviness may seem to weaken us day by day. There may be many reasons for our misery - extreme need, sickness, oppression, loss of a dear one, etc. But let us not lose our peace and our hope of eternity because our grief is transient and is permitted by God to cleanse and strengthen us and to give us praise, honor and glory at His coming (v.7).

Metamorphosis

"The Spirit of the Lord will come upon you in power..and you will be changed into a different person."
1 Samuel 10:6

God demands that we walk in the "newness of life" (Romans 6:4), distinctive from the world in our walk, talk, aims and preferences. With the influence of the Spirit of God on us, we will turn out to be quite another person in our external appearance as well as in the aptitude of our mind, with a total change in our mental ability and activity. Let us therefore wait on the Lord everyday until the influx of the Spirit of God overtakes our self-will and actions.

Acknowledge And Also Await God's blessings

"Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord."
Psalm 134:2

Let our hands be lifted up, our mouths be filled with His praises and thanksgiving, and our hearts be elevated and devoted to worship God, exalt, honor and adore Him. Let us thus give God the reverence that He deserves. Let every single cell in our body be happy when praising God than anything else that we do. Let us lift our hands to praise God eagerly expecting to receive His blessings and at the same time acknowledge the receipt of the blessings already received.

Save, Bless And Shepherd Us

"Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever."
Psalm 28:9

We are God's special possession. Let us call upon Him to redeem us from all adversaries, sins, troubles and temptations and bless us with all spiritual and material blessings. He is the One who can comfort, renovate and restore us back to life. He is our Good shepherd who guides us to abundance and carries and lifts us up whenever we are weak and weary.

Long-lasting Cure

"Restore us, O Lord God Almighty; make Your face shine upon us, that we may be saved."
Psalm 80:19

First of all we need to realise that only when God interposes, our situation can be recoverd to the full. Human attempts are inefficient. But God is all-powerful to fix any kind of problem. When God exerts Himself by shining His face upon us and our situation, the result will be effective and enduring. He does not just outwardly fix the problem but His healing will be deep-rooted and long-lasting.

Fall In With God's Plans

"Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails."
Proverbs 19:21

God knew us before we were born and He had a whole idea of our life on earth. Unless we find His purpose for us and carry it out, we will not be content or happy in whatsoever we do. We always tend to fluctuate in our ideas, and others around us try to feed us with their suggestions. But none can defeat God's purpose 4 us(Isaiah 14:27). He will accomplish His design for us because He is unchangeably the same forever. Let us not resist but fall in with His plans.

Confidence in God Shields Us From Traps

"..the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared."
Proverbs 3:26

When God alone is our reliance, we can completely relax amidst any terrible situation. Our certainty of assurance in Christ is our security in times of pains, hardships and hazards. He will preserve us from any trap laid by the wicked. If at all we are entangled, He will not delay to pluck us out of the pitfall, when our eyes are continually fixed on Him (Psa.25:15).

Expect For His Blaze in Our Dusk

"O Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with Him is full redemption."
Psalm 130:7

God has immense blessing in reserve for us. We need to wait with great expectation to receive them. He is pleased to exercise His absolute love, mercy and grace on us when we approach Him to get hold of them. He has already earned unlimited redemption for us at the cross for all our trials and troubles and is ready to pour it out on us in His time. Let us wait with eager expectation to receive His blaze in our dusk, vigor in our lack and win in our warfare.

God Provides To The Brim

"..my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:19

We have to realize and admit our needs to God so that He can bring them to pass(Rev.3:17) according to His affluence. His blessings are always to the brim. He gives abundant wisdom (James 1:5), complete healing (Acts 3:16), extensive comfort (2 Cor. 7:4), voluminous knowledge of God (Isa.11:9) and much more. Let us ask God and be filled to the measure of all His fulness (Eph.3:19).

Helped Till Now. Will Help Forever.

"..Thus far has the Lord helped us."
1 Samuel 7:12

Let us acknowledge and honor God for all that He has done for us. Recollecting and thanking God for all His help to us in the past will boost our hope on Him and cause us to be totally dependant on Him. The Lord who initiated to lend us His helping hand, will help us accomplish everything (Phil.1:6). There is not a thing deficient with God that He cannot help us. He is not a man to abandon us half the way. Let us fully rely on Him and face our future with confidence, strength and courage.

Wait on God for the Best Harvest

"Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He will strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord."
Psalm 27:14

God has already set apart our portion, to grant it to us in His time and in His way. Let us gladly wait for Him, for the end thereof will surely be victorious. Waiting on God is never a waste of time but it is a time for us to qualify, get strengthened, be renewed and get ready to receive God's best for us.

Tsunami of Blessing

"Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the Lord who makes the storm clouds. He gives showers of rain to men, and plants of the field to evryone."
Zecariah 10:1

If we keep urging God for His showers and eagerly await for it, our cup of blessing is surely going to run over. God still wants to giv us and our children a plenty. Let us never quit but keep praying. Let us intensify our union with God, and not fail to see a overwhelming flow of blessing coming on our way.

Vigorously Track Down And Take Over

"Now give me this hill country that the Lord has promised me that day.."
Joshua 14:12

Let us not be satisfied with whatever we have, but be willing to pay any price to acquire everythng that God has in store for us. Let us not give up until we are filled with what He has promised us. Let us vigorously track down and take possession over all His benefits for us. Let no hinderance consign us to the grave. Let us skip out, tread on them and go uphill to obtain our belongings.

From Drought To Liveliness

".."Go up..for there is the sound of the roar of a heavy shower."
1 Kings18:41

May be hopelesnes is the reality of these days in our lives, making us feel broken and empty with the fear of an unknown future. Let us get down on our knees in prayer and wait for the abundant downpour of His showers in every area of our life. Let us keep praying with an eager expectation, even though there seems to be no evidence of an answer. God will turn everything around with His downpour of grace, when each and every area of our life will bounce back to liveliness.

Enjoy The Fullness Of Freedom

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdend again by a yoke of slavry."
Galatians 5:1

Many things in life weigh us down, making us feel defeated, draining all our courage. But Jesus has already carried all our burdens on the cross and therefore we are ultimately free, now that we are His children. So let us be inflexible, not allowing any burden to pull us down, but enjoy the fullness of the freedom that God has given us. Let us not feel outcast but be victorious and proclaim this real freedom to the lost.

God Denies Nothing That Is Good For Us

"Even strong lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good."
Psalm 34:10

Even crafty, mighty, high-handed men may get into crisis and break down. But we who seek the Lord can always be ensured of His resources. He will never deny anything that is good for us. If at all we are denied something, though it may seem to be good in itself, it may not be good for us. So let us be sure that God can supply anything, and will grant His best to us.

Delayed Hope and Accomplished Desire

"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life."
Proverbs 13:12

We have gone through most of our life, waiting for things to happen. Our prayers appear to just outgo without any response or solution. But God wants us to wait so that we learn something. He will dispense our expectations in His time and then our joy will know no bound.

God Enlivens Our Decayed Sections

"Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You."
Psalm 85:6

There are indications of death in many areas of our life - may be our marriage, health, finance, studies, relationship with God, etc. But we are just cold-hearted, not realizing the need for a renewal. Let us get down on our knees and ask God to stir up our frigid hearts.When God sends His revival, all dead spots will rupture into life, adding elegance and pleasure that we have never experienced before. May God enliven all the decayed sections of our life.

Know, Trust And Seek

"Those who know Your name will trust in You, for You, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek You."
Psalm 9:10

Knowledge about God, His nature and deeds is comfort and strength to our soul and it compels us to confide in Him. The more we know of Him, the more we will place our confidence in Him. We are the work of His hands and He will never abandon us (138:8). Let us seek Him with a confiding heart and be affirmed of His guardianship and care.

God Blesses Our Earnings And Savings

"Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed."
Deuteronomy 28:5

God wants to bless our earnings and our savings. It is His delight to bless our arrangements for our current need as well as our reserves for the future. He never wants us to run out of supplies but be filled. Let us apply ourselves to His words and thrive.

No Flood Can Swallow Us

He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters." Psalm 18:16

Sometimes, God personally interposes to rescue us from dangers lest we are swept away by our sorrows and sufferings. The flooding of harms and disasters can never engulf us because God not only subdues the violence of the torrent but also reaches down to tightly grasp us out of evil, so that none can ever snatch us away from Him. He thus embraces us to make us His own possession.

Never Finish Praying

"my eyes are dim with grief; I call to You, O Lord, everyday; I spread out my hands to You."
Psalm 88:9

When life seems totally torn up, there is still hope for us. Let us never give up calling on God. Sometimes God is silent(v.14), but His awesome, exceptional performances are usually brought about after His silence (eg.Job - God is silent until the 38th chapter, waiting for His perfect time to give Job a double blessing of whatever he lost). God is in control all along. Let us not forgo our prayer.

Plea For Hasty Favor

"Hide not Your face from Your servant; for I am in distress; make haste to answer me." Psalm 69:17

Let's be sure not to lose God's presence at any point of time and let nothing interrupt us from seeking His nearness. We can let God know the urgency of our cause and cry out for a hasty favor, but we need to be patient in case of His delayed intervention. Yet, we can keep pleading for an immediate relief.

Shame Shattered

"..you will never be put to shame or disgraced, to ages everlasting."

Isaiah 45:17

Shame is a very embarrassing feeling that keeps us chained forever, not letting us to rise up and shine. But we no longer need to carry our shame because Jesus carried even our shame on the cross. He will increase our glory abundantly and will personally nourish and cherish us and will help us forget our shame and remember them no more.(54:4,5). Let us dispel all our disgrace and move forward to reach our God-given goal.

Mens' Look Vs. God's Look

"I am concerned for you and will look on you with favor;.."
Ezekiel 36:9

Men look on us to find charges against us and criticize us (Daniel 6:4). But God looks on us with favor to make us fertile, multiply us and confirm His covenant with us (Leviticus 26:9). He looks on us with esteem to relieve us from all our stress and strain.

A Thorough Rescue

"My God sent His angels to shut the lions' mouths so that they would not hurt me.." Daniel 6:22

The world is full of danger wherever we turn - conspiracy, disruption, condemnation, agitation, contending, etc. We solely get trapped in alarming situations. But let us remember that God is always in control of the lions and will tackle our situation if we let Him to. He is always with us to afford a thorough rescue from any danger. Let us just pray and trust in Him.

Short-lived Sorrow But Lasting Joy

"You have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice and no one can rob you of that joy."
John 16:22

There will be instances in our lives when God seems to hide His face from us (Isaiah 54:8), which will be more afflicting. But when He manifests Himself there will be joy beyond description that can never crackup or be robbed. All our agony will be turned to joy and we will be delighted as a travailing mother would rejoice to see babe after all her pain.

We are Flawless and Perfect in Christ

"So you are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head of every ruler and authority."
Colossians 2:10

We live in a corrupt world, feeling hurt and plundered of the good things we actually deserve. Let us renew our amity with Christ, in whom we can enjoy a thorough freedom from sin and His absolute grace, strength, joy, wisdom and peace. He is the Superior Master, proficient in everything. Let no worldly philosophies or traditions outrank our priority to Christ. He dominates over any other power. Let us not fear any other upper hand that has control over us at work or at home. Nothing will come to pass unless God permits.

God Upgrades Our Esteem and Sustains Us

"You will increase my honor and comfort me once again."
Psalm 71:21

We have gone through different kinds of agonizing troubles that have ruptured us into fragments. But our God promises not only to heal us and bring us back to our former reputation but also upgrade our greatness. Further, He will encompass us with His comfort and we will no more be annoyed.

God Contends, Substantiates, Acquits and Rehabilitates

"Stir up Yourself and awake to my right, and to my cause, my God and my Lord."
Psalm 35:23

We are agitated at times to take motives and run wild after those who harmed or falsely accused us. But let us appeal to the Lord to render us justice in everything in our lives. He will contend, substantiate, acquit and rehabilitate us, not according to our righteousness but His (v.24), when we can claim Him to be "My God", i.e. have a personal, intimate relationship with Him.

Every Single Blossom Will Bear Fruit

"I will rebuke the devourer for u, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the Lord of hosts."
Malachi 3:11

The Lord never wants the labor of our hands to perish but to flourish. He wishes that every single effort of us should yield a fruit-age. When we honor Him with our produce, He checks anything that could mar our turnouts.

Blessed Liberation and blissful Elation

"Oh, that salvation..would come out of Zion! When God restores the fortunes of His people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!" Psalm 53:6

God will soon bring all our misery to an end and exult us with His glory. He will not only free us from all our pitiless oppressions and painful burdens, but also hand over sovereignty to us, which would be a blessed privilege and blissful elation.

Arise and Shine

"Arise, shine, for your light has come and the glory of the Lord rises upon you."
Isaiah 60:1

Let us first admit the light of Christ to glaze through us so that the shadows of sin, depression and wretchedness might be driven away from us. Let us then be radiant enough to give love, hope and encouragement to those who are discouraged and hopeless.

God, the Initiator and Accomplisher

"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.."
Romans 12:2

To run our race victoriously, let us never turn to look behind, whatever commotion we might hear, lest we stumble on the way. Let us tune-up our eyes on Jesus, our goal. He alone who began His good works in us can make it complete without any flaw.

God Manifests Himself in His Appointed Time

"..Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." Mark 6:50

We often feel that we are halfway down the storming sea, anxious over our finance, health, future, job, children, etc. and are overwhelmed with dashing hopes, not knowing what to do. But no such adversity can hold back God's manifestation to His children in His appointed time. With Him, all will be set right and will go well.

God is our Safeguard, Rest and Triumph

"The eternal God is your refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you saying, "Destroy him".
Deuteronomy 33:27

In a world filled with perils, God is our shelter, protecting us from any outbreak, harm or disaster. In Him we find comfort, consolation, ease and rest. With Him we are guaranteed triumph over rivals however mighty they may be.

Our Adjudicator, Legislator, Ruler and Rescuer

"For the Lord is our Judge, the Lord is our Lawgiver, the Lord is our King; it is He who will save us."
Isaiah 33:22

God is our universal Judge who only can bail us out from all injustice. He is our Legislator who can get us off the hook from paying the penalties due to us. He is our King who can subdue all antagonists and preserve us from all dangers.

Harmonious homes

"My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest."
Isaiah 32:18

When God's Spirit is poured out, we will live in harmony with one another and be at liberty from all abuse and violence. We will not be disturbed physically or perturbed mentally. We will live on a standard higher than our circumstances.

Be at home under His wings

"I long to dwell in Your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of Your wings."
Psalm 61:4

Let our hearts always continue to live with the Lord wherever we are. Let us forever abide underneath His shelter and enjoy His protection and care. May His service and worship be our ceaseless task and may His grace be our never-ending comfort.

We will win God's credits

"..stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

Let us not get upset over any criticism for our good works to the Lord, but be stable and busy with the work of God to the brim. We can be sure of winning His credits for each and every thing that we do according to His will.

Haven where no mischief can reach

"From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I."
Psalm 61:2

God is our solid rock to hide when we feel insecure. He is our tower of strength when we can not brace ourselves. He controls any situation when we can not deal with it. He is our haven where no mischief can reach.

God's shower of sure grace

"..His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, like the latter rain to the earth."
Hosea 6:3

God's grace comes down on us unaltered as the sun, helping us to spring out of our sins and pains. His grace is showered on us as the rain that enlivens us after long dry seasons. Though the shower of His favor on us is delayed, let us wait assuredly for it with confidence.

The Lord renovates and redecorates us

"The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow."
Isaiah 35:7

When we surrender our lives to God, He can clean up all our mess and remodel us to be partakers of His grace, joy and peace and renew us with His showers of blessing. He can wash down all our sins and sufferings and crown us with His glory.

Fear Nothing God knows everything

"..Be brave; do not be afraid. Your God will come with vengeance, with divine revenge. He will come and rescue you."
Isaiah 35:4

Though we are surrounded by hatred, fright and evil, we need not fear because God knows our every next step. He promises to come and pay back those who tormented us. Let nothing frighten or weaken our faith. He assures us divine deliverance.

Carry forward the work of Jesus

"..anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing. He will do greater things than these.."
John 14:12

Jesus calls each and every one of us who have been redeemed, to be a part of His great task of lading people to faith in Christ. Let us totally rely on Him and continue His work of sharing the gospel with prayers. This is the ultimate purpose of God in us. Let us get on with the work of Christ not to make fame for us but for the glorification of His name and kingdom.

No more affliction

"..He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time."
Nahum 1:9

Though we are not promised a path of rose-beds, we are promised deliverance out of each and every single trouble when we call upon God. We shall never be desolate when we trust in Him. He is there to break our yoke and burst our bonds(v.13). He will redeem our souls. Let us cheer up.

Achieve anything through His strength

"I can do everything through Him who gives me strength."
Philippians 4:13

With the dynamism and potentiality that God gives us, we can accomplish any kind of task in life. He gives us an innate capacity and inoculates His strength into us to make us rise above any situation. Let us not droop into any desperation, because we have His vigor in us. Good day

Faithful to thousand generations

"..He is a faithful God, who keeps His promise and is merciful to thousands of generations of those who love Him and obey His commands."
Deuteronomy 7:9

Our kith and kin, our finance and fitness may all fall short. But our God is faithful to sustain us through all alleys of life - to support, guide, comfort, cure & provide.

Ever awake and on guard

"..the One who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, He who watches..never slumbers or sleeps."
Psalm 121:3,4

There are a lot of moments when we get exhausted and get to rest, missing to take notice of any concealed deception or trap. But our heavenly Father is ever awake and on guard. Let us not be annoyed. He is ever watchful.

To walk in harmony - an admirable blessing

"..let him be acceptable to his brothers.." Deuteronomy 33:24

Walking in harmony with those around is an admirable blessing. Let us make haste to pardon those who hurt and insult us and also be cautious not to injure others with our words or deeds. Let us always be sweet-tempered and maintain unity with those at home and around.

Unfathomable and upright ways of God

..How impossible it is for us to understand His decision & His ways!
Romans 11:33

Although God's ways are unfathomable, they are always upright (Hosea 14:9). He overwhelms us by the wonder of His ways. Let us trust in Him and walk in the way He leads us and not stumble. Though we don't comprehend, He knows exactly what He does.

Downright obedience and absolute surrender

"..Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; Let it be to me according to Your word.." Luke-1:38

Though we can't fully understand God's plan for us, a downright obedience and absolute surrender is essential to have His will and might disclosed in us. Let us empty ourselves and give us over to Him so that He stuffs us with His grace and favor.

Hit for flop

"You make a wide path for me to walk on so that my feet do not slip."
2 Samuel 22:37

It is the Lord who gives us liberty from hardship, vindication from guilt and hit in all our flops. He promotes us to attain royalty not only for our benefaction but it is a fighting chance to serve God and care for people around us (Esther 4:14).

God exalts us after preparing us

"Humble yourself ..under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time."
1 Peter 5:6

Let us be willful to be undignified and low-set when God admits us to be so. God relishes to give us the choicest part, but at times allows us to be put down in order to make us accept His sovereignty. When we are compliant and prepared, He exalts us.

He will make us a joy of others

"..you have been forsaken and hated so that no one went through you. I will make you an eternal excellence, a joy of many generations."
Isaiah 60:15

Though everything around us seems miserable and infernal, the glory of God will shine on us. The Lord will bring all those who harassed and looked down on us to gain favor from us.

Thresh down mountains

"..I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; You will thresh the mountains and beat them small and make the hills like chaff."
Isaiah 41:15
God will renew our strength and lead us through ways we have not gone before. He will make us stamp down all massive problems and we can find no plight or plight-maker will exist in front of us
(v.1-16).

Do not recompense evil

"Do not say, "I will recompense evil." Wait for the Lord and He will save you."
Proverbs 20:22

God acts incredibly on our behalf when we wait for Him rather than seek to repay evil. Let us choose the good part of staying at His feet and He will make all those who were incensed against us to be ashamed and confounded (Isaiah41:11).

Awestruck Before God

"Lord, I have heard of Your fame; I stand in awe of Your deeds, O Lord.."
Habakkuk 3:2

God's work for us are exceedingly amazing, causing a sacred fear for Him. The more He blesses and cares for us, the more we have to fall at His feet, always praising and worshiping Him. Let us be attentive to perceive more of His greatness and adore Him even more.

"..I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you.." Haggai 2:23

Trust ind God and Thrive

"Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf." Proverbs 11:28

Let us not confide in our riches, which are temporary and uncertain. Let us totally linger to God & ever grow in His grace, drawing nourishment from Him and thereby live in abundance.

God disposes

"No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength." Psalm 33:16

However secular our financial status might be, however healthy our physique might be, however powerful our background might be, our safety is in God alone.He puts in order all events of our life to make us avail success.

Keep going, to achieve

"Not that I have already attained or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me." Philippians 3:12

Let us not halt at our current footing but keep advancing because God has more in store for us to gain. We are still on our way to jubilation in every single facet of our life.

Emancipation in every concern

"..He has delivered me from every trouble and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies." Psalm 54:7

Having seen the Lord's emancipation in each and every concern and having noticed the ways He has dealt with every foe, we can be confident of His help & vindication. Let us daringly move forward with Him, the upholder of our life.

He Heals

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Psalm147:3
We live in a heart-breaking world which tears our hearts in millions of unanticipated ways. Men may further beat us down with their words, trying to comfort us. But our Great Comforter can comfort, heal and retrieve us from the bottommost pit.

Blessed Everywhere

"You will be blessed in the city & blessed in the country." -Deuteronomy 28:3 

We must confide in God steadfastly for the continuance & ease of life. The urge of His presence is inevitable at every turn of our life - whether it be at home or at work. His favor makes us prosper, succeed & bring forth fruit in all that we do.
