Today's Endurance Tomorrow's Glory

"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."
Romans 8:18

We may be denied, despised and abused in life. But if we hang on to faith and endure tough times, we will be glorified in the end. Let us not forget that we are never alone in our sufferings but suffer with God as His heirs (v.17) and therefore will sure be glorified with Him.

Delight In God's Fatherhood

"And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you: your throne shall be established forever."
2 Samuel 7:16

Let us be sure of the lasting mercies and favor of God on us and our children. Let us enjoy the privilege of having the Almighty God as our Father forever and let us submit to be His children forever so that He will not take His lovingkindness away from us (1 Chronicles 17:13).

Hope, Patience And Prayer

"Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; constant in prayer;"
Romans 12:12

May the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace as we trust in Him, that we may abound in the hope of the glory of God through the Holy Ghost (5:2; 15:13). Let us patiently wait during our tribulation, with all hope for the things we don't see (8:25) and continue steadfastly in prayer until we get blessed (Gen.32:26).

Anticipate Ease When In Pain

"When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs. The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings."
Psalm 84:6

Let us move forward expecting moments of ease, comfort and peace even as we pass through areas of pain and distress. Our present troubles are just momentary, preparing us for great glory(2 Cor.4:17), when He will refresh our weary hearts with abundant showers (Psa.68:9)

Speak And Receive

"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he said shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he said."
Mark 11:23

Let us have faith in GOD, believe without doubt and speak things out and be ready to receive what we said. There is real power in the spoken word of faith. God, who created everything by His word, expects us to experience the power of words of faith.

God Knows Our Everything

"Why say you, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, My way is hidden from the LORD, and my right is passed over by my God?"
Isaiah 40:27

Let us not feel forsaken or be grieved in our spirit, for nothing that we go through is hidden from the eyes of the Almighty God (Heb.4:13). He who sustains the order of heaven and earth will turn our tables with all ease in His time. Let us just wait on Him (v.28-31) and be renewed in strength.

God Speaks Peace

"I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly."
Psalm 85:8

God alone can speak peace to our troubled spirits. Let us be cautious to listen to His voice and yield to His words in order to relish His peace and be careful not to turn to our own folly lest we lose it.

Don't Reject. Rejoice When Rejected

"The stone which the builders rejected has become the head stone of the corner."
Psalm 118:22

Beware not to reject any child of God because it is the law of God to make the rejecter become totally dependant on the rejected. Rejoice if anyone rejects you because it is the will of God to make you the prime foundation of his life.

Let God Adopt Our Work

"Let your work appear unto your servants, and your glory unto their children."
Psalm 90:16

Our own efforts can never redress our injury nor ease our distress but the demonstration of God's divine power and providence will bring peace beyond all understanding and our children will cognize His glory. Let us just stand still and permit God to deal with us and our affairs and see His glory.

Controlled And Steered

"O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man who walks to direct his steps."
Jeremiah 10:23

However great a man's post, power or status may be, he can never be the lord of his own will and intent but is controlled and steered by the Lord of all with or without his knowledge. Let man never boast of his diplomacy because he is overruled by his Creator.

Be Honored And Exalted Forever

"Although you have been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through you, I will make you an eternal excellence, a joy of many generations."
Isaiah 60:15

Though we had been abandoned and companionless, scorned and despised, with none to associate, God Himself will esteem us, making us feel honored and exalted forever. He will make us a subject of joy generation after generation.

Pleased To Bestow

"Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom."
Luke 12:32

Though we may seem negligible in comparison with the godless or other hypocrites, we need not fear, for the omnipotent God has undertaken our cause to provide, guard and guide us. It is His pleasure to give us His kingdom and how much more will He provide our other requisites. Let us not be concerned of earthly possessions but seek His kingdom.

One Word From God Will Do

"For he spoke, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing: he makes the devices of the people of none effect. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.'
Psalm 33: 9-11

God can change things or even create something in or for us by just one of His words. His purpose and design for us will be accomplished and no device of the wicked can harm us nor any counsel of the godless can dominate us.

One Word From God Will Do

Respects The Lowly

Psalm 138:6

Although God is great and all glorious, high and lofty, inhabiting eternity, He stoops down to look upon the lowly, analyse and meet out their needs, and He dwells with the contrite and humble to revive and restore their crushed spirit (Isaiah 57:15). All we need to do is be humble to draw His attention.

Universal Acknowledgement

"And their descendants shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the descendants whom the LORD has blessed."
Isaiah 61:9

The time is near when we and our descendants will be universally honored, acknowledged and esteemed as the ones favored of the Lord, blessed with all spiritual, physical and material blessing. Let us greatly rejoice in the Lord and exult Him for He has taken away our robes of sack cloth and wrapped us with robes of righteousness (vs.10).

My King Of Old

"For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
Psalm 74:12

If we claim and acknowledge the Almighty God to be our King and sovereign Ruler from the past ages, we will be privileged to enjoy all His love, salvation and providence. He is still the same God that can work out astounding wonders for the citizens of His kingdom. He is all-powerful to work out all that He wills. He can command deliverances and bring down bread from heaven.

Propose, For God To Dispose

"A man's heart plans his way: but the LORD directs his steps."
Proverbs 16:9

We need to have plans and proposals about our future and the plans have to be made with the influence of the Holy Spirit. God then decides and determines what all to carry out in our life, persuades us and whips into shape the final design. So let us make plans and wait on God to bring them to pass according to His will.

Be Sure Of An Answer

"Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice."
Psalm 55:17

God will certainly answer our prayers when our prayer is routine and frequent. Let us pour out the deepest feelings of our heart to Him and be at peace. Let us first figure out that there is no other way to receive our blessing rather than from God. Then our shameless persistence in prayer will bring down His sure favor (Luke 11:8).

Be Demarcated By Reforms

"..wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of your times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure."
Isaiah 33:6

God wishes to mark off the differences of our days from others by bringing about great reforms, making our foundations firm in the wisdom and knowledge of His doctrines and making us hold dear the fear of the Lord above all treasures, thus leading us to life, making us to rest contented, untouched by any trouble (Prov.19:23).

God Is Resolved To Work Out His Plan

"..He performs the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him."
Job 23:14

God is determined to fulfill His plan for us, plans to prosper and not to fail, plans to give us hope and future (Jer.29:11). Our loving Father has not destined us to wrath but for salvation through Jesus Christ(1Thes.5:9). Great is the depth of His riches. Tremendous and towering are His favor in store for us. Let us just wait on Him for His plan to be accomplished in our lives.

Be Blessed Of God

"For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth.."
Psalm 37:22

We, as children of God enjoy all our blessing ONLY from God and never by chance. God will honor our hope in Him and bless us(v.9). Let us confide in His Word and wait on Him to reveal Himself to us in due time, for the display of His grace and execution of His promises.

Break Forth Into Singing

"Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD has comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted."
Isaiah 49:13

The whole of universe rejoices for God has started to renew and revive everything, comfort and have compassion on us, making all our ruins, deserts and wastelands to flourish. Let us give thanks and sing aloud for Him (51:3).

Make Christ Known Through Love

"By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another."
John 13:35

Christ will not be known through us to men around by our rites, rituals, traditions, festivals nor by what we wear or speak but by the genuine love we show to them, irrespective of their caste, creed, religion or status. We ought to love people as if they are our own brothers and sisters.

Be Filled With Laughter And Shouts Of Joy

"Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the nations, The LORD has done great things for them."
Psalm 126:2

God will soon turn all our mourning into dancing, making our joy abound that we can't contain ourselves. His favor for us will be so great so that it will not go unnoticed by people around. Let us thank, praise, sing songs of acclamation and not forget to declare aloud all the goodness He has done to us (Psalm 107: 1, 2).

Yield To His Wisdom And Strength

"He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who has hardened himself against him, and has prospered?"
Job 9:4

God is all-powerful to accomplish His purpose in our lives. We can never resist His will and prosper. We can never confront His flawless wisdom and supreme strength. Let us not harden our hearts but yield us totally to do His will.

Chosen To Enjoy All His Goodness

"Blessed is the man whom you choose, and cause to approach unto you, that he may dwell in your courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, even of your holy temple."
Psalm 65:4

Blessed are we whom God has chosen to have intimate fellowship with Him, treated as His sons and daughters to enjoy all benefits of the Father in heaven. Let us make full use of the love, mercies and grace of His presence by first cherishing it for ourselves and then sharing it with others.

Answers By Awesome Deeds

"By awesome deeds in righteousness will you answer us, O God of our salvation; who is the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea"Psa.65:5

At times God answers us in such a way that will astonish us and make us revere and worship Him. There is nothing in us to be self-confident but we always ought to confide in the Almighty God who will one day be remembered by all the ends of the earth and be bowed down by all the nations (22:27).

Total Restoration

"And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to restore them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them."
Zechariah 10:6

The hand of God will be established with us to strengthen us (Psa.89:21). He will save us to be members of His family (Jere.31:1), forgiving, totally forgetting all our past iniquities. He will be our Father God, ready to receive our prayers.

Walk In His Strength. Boast of His Righteousness

"I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of your righteousness, even of yours only."
Psalm 71:16

Let us walk not in our own strength but in the power of the Almighty so that we can subdue any force that comes against us. Let us boast of His righteousness and not ours, not just because our righteousness is nothing but filthy rags in the sight of God but also because it is His righteousness that saves and delivers us (vs.2).

Rely On The Sure Foundation

"Uphold me according unto your word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope."
Psa lm119:116

When our hope is founded on the word of God, a sure foundation, we will never be put to shame. God is not a man to break anything He has said. On the contrary He delights to hold our hands according to His promises. Our hope in Him and His word will never disappoint us.

Pledges To Provide

"..fear not; I will do to you all that you require.."
Ruth 3:11

When we find our place at the feet of Jesus, He happily receives us, assures us of His care and divine providence, and is ready to transform everything in our life. Let us boldly claim our redemption and protection from our Maker. Let us place our supplication before Him and just relax because He will not rest until He meets our demands according to His glorious riches.

Our Own Hands Will Knuckle Down

"He teaches my hands to make war, so that a bow of bronze is bent by my arms."
Psalm 18:34

Let us give hold of our hands to the most mighty God of all so that He will clothe us with His strength and might to subdue any evil force and to loosen the strings of the strongman so that we can shatter his iron gates and exploit all hidden treasures and wealth through God who strengthens us (Isa.45:1-3)

Power Along With Promise

"For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power."
1 Corinthians 4:20

The power and authority of God is not just in bare boasting but in convinced attestations of His works, for does not just give us words of assurance but also His power through the Holy Spirit (1 Thes.1:5). With every promise of God, we also receive His power to lay claim on it and to make it our own.

Momentary Withdrawal But Everlasting Grace

"And hide not your face from your servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily."
Psalm 69:17

It is extremely grievous when God seems to withdraw His gracious presence away from us. Let us not despair but plead for the manifestation of His love and glory, for He never despises our afflictions nor really hides His face forever (22:24). He never really forsakes or turns away from us but will come to our help at the fitting moment and assures to be with us forever.

Submit To The Divine Plan And Providence

"Who has divided a channel for the overflowing of waters..To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender grass to spring forth?"
Job 38:25-27

God who makes water-courses to carry the rain for a particular irrigation in the desert to cultivate the wilds, will nourish and satisfy our thirsting souls with all His goodness. He who can fully satisfy the earth which is never satisfied with water (Prov.30:16), will be all-sufficient to us through His divine providence.

Rejoice And Let Rejoice

"For you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands."
Isaiah 55:12

We, the children of God are called to rejoice and be glad with peace so that the nature and everything and everyone around us will rejoice together with us, thus praising and magnifying the Lord. Let our heads be filled with everlasting joy and let us joyfully sing and thank God. Let joy and gladness overtake us so that all our sighing and mourning automatically flee away.

Give What You Have

"..Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have I give you.."
Acts 3:6

As faithful stewards of God, we ought to give and serve others with whatsoever we have been entrusted with. We have to cheerfully share with those in need without grumbling. Let us do the best to our ability with good will and be certified of the Lord that we have done our best (Mark 14:8).

Hike Our Faith

"..Lord, Increase our faith."
Luke 17:5

Jesus, who is the Author and Finisher of our faith (Heb.12:2) has all power to upgrade our faith. We actually need an exceptional expanse of faith to walk in His ways and to keep His commands. For this we first need to realise our deficiency of faith, then desire to have more faith, humility to ask for it and faith again to receive it.

I Will Step-up Again

"Rejoice not against me, O my enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me."
Micah 7:8

The pratfall of the righteous and the jubilance of the godless is all just for a moment. The godly is still not dead but has all hope on the grace of God that would lift him up. The light of His countenace will soon illuminate all our darkness and make us shine for Him.

All Will Be Well Even When All Is Evil

"They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied."
Psalm 37:19

When it is ill with others around, everything will still be well with those who have all their confidence in God. As our salvation, hope, comfort and providence comes from the Lord (vs.39), we never need to worry about any famine, woe or mess. God will always be there to help, provide and lift our heads up.

Be Intimate And Communicate With God

"..Behold, the LORD our God has showed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire.."
Deuteronomy 5:24

Our Almighty God is still the same to reveal His glory and greatness to us. He actually created us to talk and to walk with us. But our sins alienated us from having a close relationship with Him. Our heavenly Father still loves to converse with us. Let us no longer be foreigners to our Father but be His children, talking to Him and experience His glorious presence.

Fear God And Lack Nothing

"O fear the LORD, you his saints: for there is no lack to them that fear him."
Psalm 34:9

Though we have God for our Father, Friend and everything else, we ought to revere and obey Him and walk in His ways. When we give Him the respect due to Him, His heart will be inclined towards us and His eyes will be on us to endow His favor. He will not hide His face from us but hear our plea and grant us all our needs.

Do We Honestly See And Hear?

"But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear."
Matthew 13:16

We are honestly blessed only if we are able to see God in all His fullness and glory with our spiritual eyes, comprehend the mysteries of His grace and love, and be hearers and doers of His Truth to bring forth fruit. Let us always be sensitive of His presence and guidance.

His Light And Truth Leads Us

"O send out your light and your truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto your holy hill, and to your tabernacles."
Psalm 43:3

To be led unto God, we need His light to give us the joy of His presence and to clearly manifest to us the nature of our heart, and we need His Truth which would be a light, directing our path. Our soul is among lions in this world. We need His favor to be sent into our soul from heaven in order to be sustained (57:3,4).

Teach Your Way. Unite My Heart

"Teach me your way, O LORD; I will walk in your truth: unite my heart to fear your name."
Psalm 86:11

That Truth may not just be a doctrine but the practise of our daily life, we need to be continually taught of the Lord. To truly fear and honour God without any distractions, He alone can help to undividedly channel all our desires to be directed towards Him and help us to worship Him with one accord.

Awesome God - Beyond What We Know

"As for the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in abundant justice: he will not afflict."
Job 37:23

We can never totally comprehend the Almighty God out of our little knowledge, for He is far beyond our human understanding (36:26). We have heard a very little portion of His power, wisdom, justice and counsels. He never puts to use His power in an unjust way. He will never willingly afflict us. If at all He causes grief, He will hav compassion on us according to His abundant mercies.(Lam.3:31-33)

A Disciplinary Yet Compassionate Father

"For the LORD will judge his people, and he will have compassion on his servants."
Psalm 135:14

God Himself personally involves in taking corrective measures on His children and never lets their enemies to ill-treat them at their own pleasure. In due time His compassion gets aroused and His heart is changed within Himself about His hard dealing with His servants (Hosea 11:8). He will not keep His anger on us forever.

Win Strength And Righteousness From Him

"Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed."
Isaiah 45:24

The days are near when the whole world will acknowledge the Godhead of Yahweh. Let us find all our strength and righteousness in Him and reveal His glory so that those who oppose Him shall see their frailty and absurdity.

Check In To Examine His Works

"Come and see the works of God: he is awesome in his doing toward the children of men."
Psalm 66:5

God deals frightfully with our adversary in order to preserve, sustain and nourish us. Let the survey and meditation of all His deeds of the past be our pleasure because even heavens do not forget His marvellous works of the past and we are going to sing the song of Moses along with the song of the Lamb when we go to be with the Lord(Psalm 111:2; Psalm 143:5; Revelation 15:3). This would refresh our faith in Him and make us look forward to greater wonders.

God So Nigh

"For what nation is there so great, that has God so near unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?"
Deuteronomy 4:7

We are the most privileged people on earth to have God so nigh to us to hear us and to communicate with us whenever we worship Him. He redeemed and established us as His very own people forever (2 Samuel 7:23,24). We serve a living God who speaks out of fire. Let us go near Him to worship Him and hear all that He speaks to us (Deut. 5:26, 27).

Immediate Requisite of Our Mind - Renovation

"And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;And that you put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness."
Ephesians 4:23,24

Let us yield our mind to the work of the Holy Spirit for renovation so that we get fresh supplies of His grace, be transformed day by day with new motives, be clothed with strength and renewed knowledge of Christ in order to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do and in order to be like Him when He comes to gather us.

God Makes Known His Strength

"You are the God that does wonders: you have declared your strength among the people."
Psalm 77:14

Our God does not just pose to do wonders but really works it out. The glorious strength of His hand is not concealed but manifested in extraordinary ways - He rescues and He saves; He performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth (Dan.6:27). Let us lean upon His strong arms with no doubt on His ability to save and guide us.

His Ways In Us Remain Unseen

"Verily you are a God that hides yourself, O God of Israel, the Savior."
Isaiah 45:15

The wisdom and knowledge of God is so deep, and unsearchable and inscrutable are His ways (Rom.11:33). Let us not grumble over His mysterious allocations for us but gladly yield to it, because in due time when we come to know the purpose of His ways in our life (John 13:7), we will find that the outcome of it to be glorious.

Need Violent Resolution To Grab Heaven's Riches

"..the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force."
Matthew 11:12

Though all things of the world will disapprove and counterattack on every step that we take to catch hold of the mercy of God, His righteousness, spiritual and physical blessing, we need to be strongly determined, be filled with holy zeal and violent resolution, to give up all our sins, weaknesses and slothfulness, and go after heaven's riches so that we can embrace it for ourself.

Be With And After God To Be Blessed

"I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread."
Psalm 132:15

When the Lord dwells in us (vs.14), we shall not be short of any of His provision. He will satisfy us with Himself, for He is the bread of life. The more we hunger and thirst for His favor, the more we would receive. Let us be poor in spirit, seeking after the true riches of God and be blessed with His boundless blessing.

Be Righteous To Know God's Mysteries

"For the perverse is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous."
Proverbs 3:32

God deliberately hates those who rejoice in wrong-doing and whose ways are crooked and froward. But He delights in those who seek righteousness, desires to be intimate with them as friend with friend, discloses Himself to them (Jn.14:21) and reveals to them the secrets of His kingdom (Mt.13:11).

Be Thankful, Expect Betterment

"I will sing unto the LORD, because he has dealt bountifully with me."
Psalm 13:6

When we refresh our memory now and then of what all God has done for us in the past, we will not capsize in our present trouble, but sing with joy, anticipating what He is going to do out of it. Let us be reminded of His continual presence with us in all occurence of our life, dealing favorably with us, and express our joy and thankfulness to Him with all our heart.

Exorbitant Favor For Us

"He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied you."
Psalm 81:16

God has 'out of this world' favors in store for them who obey Him. He longs to satisfy us with all bottom-line requirements as well as enhance our comfort and well-being. He will bless us out of His fulness. Once we belong to Him, no blessing is extravagant or high-priced that He will withhold from us.

Tends His Garden With Care

"Take care of what your right hand planted, the son you strengthened for yourself."
Psalm 80:15

God will never suffer the loss of His children, who are the work of His hands. With all zeal will He defend and guard us. It is He who chose us, made us His offspring and helped us abound for His own use. He will let no power to prevail against us, but tend to us with all care, expecting us to bear forth fruit in due time.

Ever Feasible God

"Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory: where is your zeal and your strength, the yearning of your heart and of your mercies toward me? are they restrained?"
Isaiah 63:15

The eyes of our heavenly Father are always upon us though we are not always sensible about it. His fervent love, compassion, mercy and zeal for us are never withheld. Let us not imagine for ourselves that His heart is hardened for us. His tender concerns and strong passions for His people are always within our reach.

Who Else Can Win?

"Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
"1 John 5:5

None other is the conqueror of this world than he who believes in Jesus Christ, the Savior. We can easily beat down and overcome anything or anyone, beyond any doubt, because we are born of God and our faith in Him helps us subdue all forces(vs.4).

An Open Door

"I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut"
Revelation.3:8.


We may be weak & weary in our run, we may have little spiritual & physical strength. Amidst all that for every success we need, we have to ask Jesus to open the door so that He'll be with us in every step we take & strengthen us & His words will be a light to our path.

Be Glad For All That He Has Done

"The LORD has done great things for us; and we are glad."
Psalm 126:3

Let us first learn to be glad and rejoice in the Lord for all that He has done for us, rather than still brooding over what we do not have. Let our souls be filled with joy for the swelling grace of God that chose to bring us out of our captivity into His kingdom. Let us burst into songs of joy, for the Lord's redemption and comfort to us who were just wretches (Isaiah 52:9).

Purifies And Then Blesses

"Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities."
Acts 3:26

Sin begets woes. When we accept Jesus and be His own People, He redeems us from all wickedness, purifies us (Titus 2:14) and then blesses us with His richest blessing and makes us a blessing to others.

Wait With Hope

"I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, and in his word do I hope."
Psalm 130:5

It is worth waiting for the Lord to show up in His time. This downtime tests our faith, breeds patience, cultivates obedience and makes us fit to cherish His blessing when it comes. Let His promises be the source of our hope and strength when we wait, for without hope we can never wait. God waits for the set time to arise and be gracious unto us (Isaiah 30:18).

Expect His Sudden Glory

"At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, with hailstones and coals of fire."
Psalm 18:12

We serve a miracle-working God, who for the most part veils Himself and seems invisible (vs.11). But there will be a sudden manifestation of His glory in our lives like that of a lightning, going before us, parting asunder all the glooms, burning up all barriers and lighting up our lives (Psalm 97:3,4).

In Covenant With Us

"He has given food unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant."
Psalm 111:5

God is always our Provider for our body and soul, even in times of extreme deficiency. He will never let any of His promise to fall to the ground, but is always aware and on His toes to fulfill His covenant with us and with the generations to come.

Lend And Reign

"For the LORD your God blesses you, as he promised you: and you shall lend unto many nations, but you shall not borrow; and you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you."
Deuteronomy 15:6

God wants us to be blessed with earthly wealth so that we shall be able to lend and never have any need to borrow and with heavenly affluence so that we shall reign over situations and not be captives.

No Evil Plan Against Us Will Succeed

"Thus says the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass."
Isaiah 7:7

As God is with us, all evil strategies against us will be thwarted and no vile plan will stand (8:10). Men will be made to obey God either by themselves or by force, because God's counsel will stand forever and none of man's rebellion will ever stand.

Recognize Your Responsibility

"..This day is a day of good news. If we are silent and wait until the morning light, punishment will overtake us.."
2 Kings 7:9

We need to recognize the responsibility of spreading the good news of the abundance of grace, salvation and favor that we enjoy from God, not failing to observe the people around us dying for want of peace and salvation.

All Will Be Well

"Say you to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds."
Isaiah 3:10

It can be boldly declared unto the righteous that all would be well with them, for when they receive the reward for their work, it would be sure joy. The Judge of all the earth will never treat the righteous and the wicked alike (Gen.18:25).

Always Says Yes To His Promise

"For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us."
2 Corinthians 1:20

Every promise of God is 'Amen' in Him, meaning 'it's already done'. We can always hear a 'YES' when we claim His promises, how many it may be (vs.19), because it is His glory to keep up and fulfil His Word. By embracing His promises by faith, we too say Amen to the glory of God.

Do The Best & Leave The Rest To God

"Be strong, and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The LORD will do what is good in his sight."
2 Samuel 10:12

If we are the ones seeking the welfare of our children or people, we need a strong will to react without any strain when they are in trouble, willing to do the maximum and leaving the result to God, on whom alone the success counts.

Esteem Others To Us

"Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves."
Philippians 2:3

Let us never even intend to gain something or overtake others by way of our strength, intellect or talent. Let not our motive be to show us off. Let us always be aware of our blunders but be reminded of the perfections of others so that we can esteem others to us.

The Set Time For Favor Is Come

"You shall arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favor her, yea, the set time, is come."
Psalm 102:13

Let us be plugged in to the promises of God and keep praying for His mercies, when we feel put down. Let us be assured that His time of redemption is at hand. God will enact His authority and unfold His favor, because the set time is come.

Blesses His Legacy

"Save your people, and bless your inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up forever."
Psalm 28:9

Blessed are we who have taken the Almighty for our God and He has taken us for His inheritance. Being our Shepherd, God will keep us from all harm and give us all that's good, plentifully supply all our needs, carry us in His arms on the earth and one day lift us up to His seat in heaven.

Visions Will Not Delay After The Prescribed Time

"For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay."
Habakkuk 2:3

Let us not be impatient or doubt over the visions, prophecies and promises given to us. It will surely be accomplished hastily in it's appointed time, bursting out as a blast. It will no longer delay but will rush to get executed when it's time is fulfilled. Let us happily wait for the Lord with all hope.

From Rock-bottom To Mountain-top

"You shall increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side."
Psalm 71:21

At times we feel submerged at rock-bottom, buried under sore troubles (vs.20). But God here promises to help us grow in every grace, elevate us to the peak of His grandeur and comfort us in every possible way- through His promises, mercy, grace and favor.

All-sufficient To Make All Things

"Thus says the LORD, your redeemer, and he that formed you from the womb, I am the LORD that makes all things; that stretches forth the heavens alone; that spreads abroad the earth by myself;"
Isaiah 44:24

We serve a God who made every single thing in the universe out of nothing. He made everything through His Word. Just a word from Him is all the more sufficient to change the tables in our life, rebuild all broken areas, transmute our status and glorify us.

Sow To Reap

"Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year a hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him."
Genesis 26:12

God blesses our talents and skills only when we put them to work. We have to be active and hard-working, making use of all opportunities (Ecc.11:6), and the Lord will bless our little into a multitude within a short span.

Beat Down Your Involuntary Reflexes

"Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
Matthew 26:41

If we are not able to withstand small wear downs while there is still no real agony, how can we endure towering tests? We therefore need to be vigilant to pray, yielding completely to our Father God. Let us not allow the involuntary reflexes of our body to overpower our appetite for God.

Sorcery And Soothsaying Nullified

"Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel.."
Numbers 23:23

As we are a generation blessed by God, trusting Him and seeking His glory, no charm, sorcery or soothsaying can win over us. Any magic spell will mean nothing to us because we are under the shelter of the Most High. Whatsoever men may ploy against us, the counsel of God alone shall stand.

God Orders His Creations To Yield For Us

"..O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people.."Ezek.36:8

God commands His creations to produce their fruitage, not willing to withhold anything that is good for His own people. More than a father or mother who would love to provide for their children, God longs to furnish us with all earthly and heavenly favor.

Being Unafraid Itself Is A Win

"..don't let your opponents intimidate you in any way. This is God's way of showing them that they will be destroyed and that you will be saved."
Philippians 1:28

Fear is the gate we open for our foes and all problems to defeat and overtake us. Being unafraid terries the rival. When we stand assured in the strength of God, He will interpose in due time to destroy our adversary and save us.

Wait Until He Uncovers Himself

"I will wait upon the LORD, that hides his face from the house of Jacob, and I will hope in him."
Isaiah 8:17

Though at times God may seem to keep His presence scarce from us, all our favor proceed from Him alone and from nowhere else, and He will bring to completion all His words one day for sure. So let us not be weary but eagerly await with joy and expectation for His appointed time, for His promises to be fulfilled.

Hail Him To Harvest

"Be glad, O children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God, for he has given the early rain for your vindication; he has poured down for you abundant rain, the early and the latter rain, as before."
Joel 2:23

God is waiting to vindicate us, restore all our wreckages and be gracious unto us. But He demands that we should rejoice and be glad in Him. He is already willing and available not only to sow but also to reap His blessings in and through us. Let us celebrate Him with gratitude.

Triumph Goes Along With God

"..the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them."
Numbers 23:21

Nothing else but the presence of God can bring us better joy, peace, protection and above all, victory in all our endeavors. Let us therefore always be aware of the presence of the triumphant King with us and make joyful acclamations, singing and rejoicing, anticipating to subdue and excel in all that we confront.

Face The Giants With Our Captain

"With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles."
2 Chronicles 32:8

Let any dignitary be our opposer and however ghastly may be his hostility (Deut.20:1-4), but his strength is just frail and mortal, nothing in analogy with the Lord who is with us for our Captain (2 Chronicles 13:12), with the regiment of heaven at His dictum.Let us always walk with our heads lifted up.

Infinite Deliverance

"But the LORD will save the people of Israel with eternal salvation. Throughout everlasting ages, they will never again be humiliated and disgraced."
Isaiah 45:17

Not our own might nor the authority of human power will save us but God alone. His deliverance and grace will not be temporary but infinite. We will never again be put to shame or be humiliated but will be blessed in such a way that we will forget all our past reproaches (54:4).

Redeems Us From All Evil Grasps

"And I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you out of the hand of the terrible."
Jeremiah 15:21

If we are with God always and remain faithful to Him, He will be with us always to redeem us from those who seem stronger than us. Things might appear frightful but greater is He that is in us than all that is in the world. Let us just relax because God Himself contends with those who contend with us and our children and will save us (Isa.49:25). Nothing evil can grasp or have control over us.

Worship To Encounter A Divine Intervention

"..they were praying and singing hymns to God, ..At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone's chains came loose."
Acts 16:25,26

No external circumstance should rob our joy in the Lord or our gratitude for Him. When our soul is influenced with faith in Him, we can praise and worship Him whatever goes around and wherever we are in. When we thus worship Him, we can apparently experience a face-to-face intervention of His divine power and we can see all unwanted ties being off.

Be Tested To Avoid Deception

"Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my heart and my mind."
Psalm 26:2

Let us not hesitate to ask God to analyse us thoroughly lest we deceive ourselves thinking we are right with God. We need a complete evaluation to prove our faith, love and fear for Him. Let us hold none of our thoughts and desires back, but give in everything to the fact-finding fire of God and be cleansed from all filth of self deception.

Receive His Rain And Yield

"For as the earth brings forth its bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations."
Isaiah 61:11

Even if we are barren as of now, it's time for us to receive His showers and be productive (Job38:25-27), bringing forth fruit of ourselves (Mark4:28), thereby bringing praise and honor to the Lord God before all the nations.

Showers Descend To Revive Us

"Rain down from above, you heavens, and pour down righteousness, you skies. Let the earth open. Let salvation and righteousness sprout. Let them spring up. I, the LORD, have created them."
Isaiah 45:8

God commands the heavens to foster us and to shower down it's reaping rain and the clouds to pour out all it's goodness on us, so that the hearts of men respond by opening to the Savior and grow forth salvation and justice. It is time to experience a great revival and partake in the descending showers of blessings.

Speak Forth His Word To Bring Back Life

"Thus says the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live:"
Ezekiel 37:5

When all our hope is gone and we feel dead about a particular circumstance, a word from God can still renew and bring it back to fresh life and make us enjoy life to the full. A word of God spoken in inspiration by the Holy Spirit gives life. Let us speak the word of God with prayer into our dead situations and make His breath permeate into them to bring them back to life.

Enjoy Riches Of His Kingdom With His Strength

"The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like deer's feet, and he will make me walk upon my high places."
Habakkuk 3:19

With God as our strength, we can do anything, according to His will, adding nothing of our own. With His strength within, we can bounce to greater heights and nothing below can frighten us. We can conquer any hindrance or trouble on our way with ease and enjoy all the goodness of His kingdom.

His Word Ceases Our Lack

"He sends out his word, and melts them: he causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow."
Psalm 147:18

God can immobilize all the systems of the world or allow it to function victoriously at His own pleasure. One word from Him will make our lack disappear and make us prosper. He alone can break or melt any hardened heart. He alone can permit His favor to flow into our lives.

Obstacles Melt in His Presence

"The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth."
Psalm 97:5

As we enter into the presence of the Creator, Supreme Ruler and Sustainer of the whole universe in total submission, the fire of God comes down on us as the Holy Spiirt to abduct and melt down our own will, make us feel His power, cast off all obstacles and make our way clear.

When we are God's most obedient sheep, He will liberate us from all restraints and consequently make us prosper. We will be secure even under the most dangerous circumstances, enjoying His showers of blessings, under the influence of the Holy Spirit.

Contributions From Heaven And Earth

"..I will answer, says the LORD, I will answer the heavens, and they shall answer the earth;"
Hosea 2:21

When we are espoused to Christ (v.19, 20), all of God's creations will come forward to give away their bounty. Heaven and earth can never deny or ignore us because they know that we are hooked up with their Maker, and they can hold back none of their goodness from us.

Be His Sheep To Relish, Flourish And Refresh

"I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a rich pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel."
Ezekiel 34:14

Men who have to care for us may be thoughtless or even hard on us. But God pursues after us passioantely (v.11), to feed us to the full, relish us, make us flourish and give us ease and safety.

God Overrules All Plans

"The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing: he makes the devices of the people of none effect."
Psalm 33:10

God fouls up the plans of even great philosophers in order to carry out His own intention and purpose. He makes their schemes futile when they are in conflict with His. Let us always make it a point to be in line with His purpose and promises because He promotes His purposes in our lives making all viles of men ignoble. His counsel and the plans of His heart will stand forever from generation to generation (vs.11).

Find And Feel God Through His Creations

"His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him--though he is not far from any one of us."
Acts17:27

God made us live on different parts of the earth, appointing our times and boundaries (v.26), so that we might get accustomed of His existence, find Him and even feel Him because the earth is filled with evidences of His existences everywhere we turn around. Let us no more be blind but feel His existence wherever we are and learn more about His attributes from His creations.

Entrust And Be At Ease

"Commit your works unto the LORD, and your thoughts shall be established."
Proverbs 16:3

Let us entrust all decisive events of our lives entirely to God, casting all our cares on Him, relying on His providence for all resources and complete backing up. Then, we will feel absolutely relaxed in our intellect and calmly wait for His will to be done, and the end thereof will be a cheerful, perfect achievement.

Hikes Up His Word

"I will worship toward your holy temple, and praise your name for your lovingkindness and for your truth: for you have magnified your word above all your name."
Psalm 138:2

God extols His Word above all other demonstrations of Himself, proving that He is true to every Word He has uttered. He prefers to keep His promises than anything else. Let us hold tightly to His Word, claim them and praise and exalt Him for His love and faithfulness.

Fit For Ruin Made Fit For Glory

"..to make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory"
Romans 9:23

We are in no wise better than others but it is the pure grace of God that chose to bestow His mercies on us, sustaining to keep us going in our way towards Him and manifesting His abundant glory in and through us. Great are His mercies that not only endured us who were fit for destruction but also displays His nature and riches through us.

Always Faithful To Exalt

"My faithfulness and My lovingkindness will be with him, And in My name his horn will be exalted."
Psalm 89:24

Notwithstanding our imperfections and shortcomings, God promises to shell out His sure mercies and at the same time be faithful to us forever, dealing with us with the fulness of His grace, and when we carry out things in His name and for His sake, He will exalt us, displaying His glory.

Let Nothing Intimidate Us

"Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked."
Proverbs 3:25

We need to stay relaxed and be absolutely sure of God's care and protection, fully aware that everything is in His control. We don't need to get shocked by any report of emergency nor be terrified at any calamity that goes around us, because God knows well what to do with us.

Earthly Versus Heavenly Father

"Surely you are still our Father! Even if Abraham and Jacob would disown us, LORD, you would still be our Father. You are our Redeemer from ages past."
Isaiah 63:16

Men may refuse to accept or even fail to recognize us. Our earthly fathers may be of no help to us, either with no mind to care for us or actualy incapable to help. But our God ever braces the relationship of a loving, tender hearted Father to us, always there to care for us as our Redeemer. He is always ready to listen to us and will never hold back His mercies from us.

Sovereign Forever

"Yet God is my king from of old, Who works deeds of deliverance in the midst of the earth."
Psalm 74:12

The Sovereignty of God is prehistoric. By earnestly acknowledging His supremacy, we kindle His love for us, reminding Him of His preferential care for us even before we were created. When we call on Him yielding thoroughly to His dominance, He will manifest His strength to defend and deliver us from those who try to degrade us.

Our Commission But His Execution

"Wait for the LORD and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land;.."Psa.37:34

Though the role of undertaking His works is assigned to us, the proceedings and the outcome are His responsibilities. Let us tarry on His own convenience and time and not waver from His course, be obedient as loyal employess, and then exaltation will be our lot and possession will be our portion.

Sing Your Problems Away

"And when they began to sing praises, the Lord turned their ambushments upon themselves..who were come out to fight against Juda, and they were slain."
2 Chronicles 20:22

Let us just sing and exalt God amidst all our trials and shortcomings, singing more and more as our problems get worse, and the Lord will confuse d counsels of our foes, making use of their own plans to destroy themselves before even we think of doing anything about it.

Brimming With Delight And Comfort

"My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food, and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips,"
Psalm 63:5

There is a real grandeur, satisfaction and fulness of the soul, when we are filled with His love and sing out His praises. Thanking and adoring Him with all our heart, soul and strength fills us with pleasure, comfort and content that nothing else can afford.

Grab All Opportunities. Take Risks

"Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don't know if profit will come from one activity or another--or maybe both."
Ecclesiastes 11:6

We have to embrace every single opportunity in life, not waiting for circumstances to be perfect. May be if the first attempt is a failure, the second might help. May be we have to redo a thing. But who knows, both efforts might bring out their reward. We have to take risks to reap the harvest. Let us not be idle but work confidently and leave the result to God.

Do Good To The Good

"Lord, do good to those who are good, to those who are upright in heart."
Psalm 125:4

When we treasure the word of God in our hearts and be filled with it, it will discern the thoughts and intents of our hearts and bring forth good yield, thus making us good and upright in His sight, giving us the courage to ask Him to bless us with all His goodness in life and death.

Just Stand And Win

"Each stood in his place around the camp; and all the army ran, crying out as they fled."
Judges 7:21

God wants us to accept whatever responsibility assigned to us, not break it up to choose our own preference, and walk in total obedience and submission to fulfill it. Then, though there seem to be no way for victory or deliverance, the triumph will surely be ours through Him.

Making Us All-sufficient

"He will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the later rain, that you may gather in your grain and your wine and your oil."
Deuteronomy 11:14

If we obey God then and there (v.13), He will shower down His first rain of the Holy Spirit, who will prepare our hearts for the harvest during the later rain, making us all-sufficient. He wants us to live our life to the full, with all gladness of heart, and make our cup overflow so that we become a channel of blessing unto others.

Pledge Of The Holy Spirit

"I will no longer hide my face from them, for I will pour out my Spirit on the people of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD."
Ezekiel 39:29

The pouring out of God's Spirit on us is a covenant by which He promises to be with us always, observing our in and out, keeping us under His protection and care and never holding off His favor from us. Let us therefore always pray asking Him not to cast us away from His presence nor take His Holy Spirit from us.

Showers of Blessing

"I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing. And I will cause showers to come down in their season; they will be showers of blessing."Ezek.34:26

When we abide in God and when our thoughts are fully encompassed about Him and His ways, He will bless us in due season from His rich treasury, pouring out His Spirit from heaven, refreshing us and making us a blessing to others.

Be Confident In His Power And Victory

"..LORD, it is nothing with you to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on you, and in your name we go against this multitude. O LORD, you are our God; let not man prevail against you."
2 Chronicles 14:11

Let us completely lean on God for help with all expectation, expressing faith in His name. It is nothing to the Lord to help us in any critical situation because His power is supreme and eternal. Let us be encouraged and strengthened in Him, for we know or serve none other than Him. Let us then be assured of His victory, for any one to prevail against us is to prevail against Him.

Proprotionate Spiritual And Material Wealth

"Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers."
3 John 2

Our physical fitness and material riches should be in proportion to the wealth and well-being of our soul. When our spiritual and material wealth are symmetrical, we will use our health and wealth systematically for His purpose to be fulfilled in our lives. When our earthly abundance is more than correlative to our spiritual prosperity, it might become a bane to us owing to misuse. So let us pray that our material riches grows day by day as we branch out spiritually.

His Mercy Is Not Our Choice

"..it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor work for it."
Romans 9:16

It is the sovereign will and pleasure of the Lord Almighty to bestow His grace and mercy to whomever He chooses and whenever He wants. He is unaccountable to anyone in this regard. Our desire and effort can never work out our salvation.He is gracious on us not because we deserve it but because He chose to be gracious on us. He has all authority to either pardon us or convict us. Let us not boast of our favor from God but humble ourselves at His feet with fear and wait for His grace.

Managing Partners of The Most High

"The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to mankind."
Psalm 115:16

God, the Creator and Proprietor of the heaven and the earth, loved us so much such that He made us managing partners of His property, the earth. He expects us to take pleasure in the post given and produce yields, using all our talents for our Master. He wants us to enjoy the result of our labor and lack nothing.

Get The Attention Of Your Boss

"..the king granted him all that he asked, for the hand of the LORD his God was on him."
Ezra 7:6

For God's hand of favor to be upon us, we must be willing to take a low place under His mighty hand (1Pet.5:6) and wait for His best time to bless us with his best. Then, we will get favor in the eyes of men and even the mind of a king will be inclined towards our benefit.

Release His Power

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me."
Matthew 28:18

Whenever we truly worship Him(v.17), Jesus still draws near to manifest Himself to us. He has all power in heaven and in earth to bring everything under His control, to save, liberate, bless and judge, and there is no such place where His authority does not apply. When we have a strong faith in His power and seek it with all passion, we sure can release His power in our lives.

Represent God And Be His Spokesperson

.."If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless, words, you will be my spokesman. Let this people turn to you, but you must not turn to them."
Jeremiah 15:19

We need to apologise for our doubts and questions on the ways that God leads us (12:1), set apart from human zeal, revealing us different from others, stick on to His truths, and not soft-soap people and get adapted to their ways but be strong in the Lord to draw them to His ways and thus represent Him and be His spokesman.

Hold Me Dear, O Lord

"O LORD God, do not turn away the face of Your anointed; remember Your lovingkindness to Your servant.."
2 Chronicles 6:42

Lord, do not let me bury my face in shame by rejecting my prayers. If not for me, please do me favor atleast for Your name's sake, for I am Your anointed one. Remember Your promises of abiding grace and sure mercies to me, Your servant. Father God, esteem me as owing allegiance with Your Anointed Son, Jesus Christ and hold me dear to bless me in everything. Amen!

Our Pleader And Lifesaver

"Plead my cause and redeem me; give me life according to your promise!"
Psalm 119:154

We are privileged to be influenced by the all-powerful God, who stands in lieu of us to withstand any hostility, combat any warfare, atone for our misdoings, be our advocate and spokesperson, remove all blames and shames on us, thus liberating and giving us the fullness of life.

Appropriate Language

"Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving."
Ephesians 5:4

God never wants us to get involved in offensive, immodest or senseless chatting, and also forbids us from mocking or ragging others because it is not fit for us, who have been purchased by His precious blood and have been made His and hence we are to imitate Him in all our conversations. Our language should be refined, gentle and courteous. Thanking Him for everything will be the appropriate language for us.

Unfold His Puzzles

"It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out."
Proverbs 25:2

There are a lot of unrevealed secrets of God about His purpose and will for us, concealed in the Bible and in His creations all around. He wants us to earnestly search for it, so that when we find it out, we will treasure it. Secondly, we notice all that God does in our lives, but we do not understand the reason behind it. We need to closely examine the status under the guidance of the Holy Spirit so that we can rejoice in the Lord when we discover the underlying cause.

Freed To Walk With God

"I shall walk in a wide place, for I have sought your precepts."
Psalm 119:45

When we have the Word of God as our mentor, dig for it with all love, long to know more of it and gladly give in to obey everything it says, we can never be enslaved but we can overcome and conquer anything that tries to imprison us. All signs of bondages will be broken and we will be free to walk in all His commandments with no restrictions or hindrances and therefore will be able to faithfully walk with God as Enoch did.

Blessed To The Max

"Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his place."
1 Chronicles 16:27

There can be no profound and true glory, grandeur, power and fulness of joy except in the presence of our Savior. We will be utterly peaceful and delighted, thoroughly quenched and blessed to the nth degree in His presence. Acknowledging and retaining His existence with us will totally change our lives.

His Abode

"I will make my dwelling among you, and my soul shall not abhor you."
Leviticus 26:11

The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Now the Word of God abides in us, givnig us a sure feel of His presence and stay with us as if we are His abode. We have to adhere closely and keep His Word, to let Him continue to abide with us. We have to love and obey His Word so that it does not deny us.

Figure Out His Will

"..do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is."
Ephesians 5:17

We are called fools when we are ignorant of the will of God in our lives. Let us not be thoughtless about handling our preferences and opportunities but be wise enough to mull over the will of God for us in every step of our lives - in all our walk and talk. Especially God wants us to be diligent about our time.

Explode With Joy And Gratitude

.."My soul exalts the Lord.. my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior."
Luke 1:46,47

Let all that is within us, be excited by the Spirit of God, and explode with great joy and gratitude, to acknowledge and celebrate God's greatness, praising and speaking of all His goodness. Let us rejoice in our Savior and may our soul be filled with divine influence to always magnify His name because it is the least gratitude that we can give the Most High Eternal God.

Idiotic And Pointless To Worry

"If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters?"
Luke 12:26

It is idiotic and pointless to worry about our needs, because our worrying cannot bring forth a least thing, not even a single meal or a drink. It rather inhibits God from providing for us because we expose our lack of faith in God by being anxious.

We Alone Are Truly Blessed

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ."
Ephesians 1:3

God bestows every possible precious blessing, all that are heavenly in nature, not accessible else where, on those who are the citizens of heaven. Let us praise and thank Him for conferring exceedingly great and precious benefits on us, making us truly blessed.

Do What You Look Forward To

"Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets."
Matthew 7:12

Though people don't love us or don't seem worthy to receive ours, we should never do to them what we can't take for ourselves, and never hesitate to do to them whatever we expect them to do for us. Let us always put them in our place and keep us in their place before we deal something with them. This is the summary of all rules and commandments given to us by our Father God.

Fear God To Fear Nothing Else

"..you shall fear the LORD your God, and He will deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.”
2 Kings 17:39

We are commanded not to fear anything else but the Lord our God. The fear for Him should seize our hearts and dominate our temperament. He will then be our lot, protecting us from all our foes, giving us victory in every single circumstance.

Thrive With No Frays Or Fusses

"In his days may the righteous flourish, and peace abound, till the moon be no more!"
Psalm 72:7

When we are totally under God's reign and practise righteousness, the rain of God's grace will be showered on us to make us thrive and proliferate, and we will enjoy perfect peace and be filled with it till the end, and there will be no more no frays or fusses.

Free-handed And Big-hearted To Bestow

"..the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him."
Romans 10:12

Our Father God never shows favoritism because He is a Father unto all mankind. He made all of us, governs us and is always rich in mercy and providence to bestow on all of us who call on Him. He is free-handed and big-hearted to give away His amplitude. But the requirement is that we have to ask in order to receive (Ezekiel 36:37).

Flourish Without Friction

"He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, "Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land."

Genesis 26:22

When we are quiet during strife, God will graciously show Himself to us in His time to grant us freedom, peace, victory and affluence. Let us always pursue peace, and no doubt that sooner or later we will be rewarded with abounding peace so that we can flourish without any friction.

From Bone-dry To Abundance

"Even the most desolate parts of your abandoned land will soon be crowded with your people. Your enemies who enslaved you will be far away."
Isaiah 49:19

Our barrenness will not last forever. God will richly pour out His blessing in every dry area of our life - it may be our spiritual growth, marital status, finance, studies, etc. His outpouring will be so much so that we will not have enough space to receive it. All that and those that devoured our riches will no more bother us.

Rejecting A Very Fair Offer

"..“Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”
Romans 9:33

Even today we see people despising and rejecting Christ, goofing their way, thereby missing their end. But there are a few who still believe in Him, who are never ashamed nor their hopes ever perish. He who is a sure foundation for those who believe Him will be a trap and a snare to the unbelievers (Isa.8:14; 28:16).

Persuaded By God To Accomplish

"The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
Deuteronomy 31:8

We don't need to fear to face any endeavor however hard it may be because God co-exists with us in all our ventures to organize the process, to guide us and to open the doors before us. He will not leave us until our cause is settled.

From Dashed Hopes To Gracious Providence

"O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles."
Psalm 43:3

We live in darkness with dashed hopes, not knowing what else to do or which way to go, desparately waiting to see if His promises will be fulfilled. But if God imparts His light through His word, we will be directed towards His gracious providence and be led in His way towards heavenly realms.

Glorify Him While Seeking His Mercies

"I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue."
Psalm 66:17

Prayer and praise should always go together. Let our hearts always be filled to it's brim with His praises, ready to burst out constantly, so that whenever we kneel down in prayer, we will be able to acknowledge His past mercies and hopefully expect His new favors.

A Terror To The Terrible Kings

"He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth."
Psalm 76:12

God can utterly collapse the wrath, pride, madness and vengeance of the princes of the world. He can embarass their schemes and deprive them of their self-esteem and confidence. He is a terror to those who terrify us. No great king can contend with God. Let Him alone be the object of our fear. The Most High awesome God and the great King over all the earth will be pleased to stand by our side when we revere Him and commit all our concerns to Him.

Hear, Acknowledge And Live In His Favor

"Blessed are the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of your countenance."
Psalm 89:15

As a sheep is aware of it's shepherd's voice, so should we be all ears to the revelations of God. Our inner man should make joyful acclamations, always acknowledging the presence of the King of kings with us, and thus experience living under the favor of the most High all day long.

Fear God To Know His Secrets

"The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant."
Psalm 25:14

When we truly revere God, we will have intimacy with Him, know His purposes, intentions, providences and things that are yet to come. He will do nothing without revealing his plan to us (Amos 3:7). He will also show us His covenant and authenticate the blessings of it on us. We will be the ones to know and experience His favor.

I Am Still Not Dead

"Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light."
Micah 7:8

Let us not give space to satan, evil men or even the doubts of our hearts to rejoice over our failures, because we are still not dead but waiting for the Lord's light to shine upon us. Let us not despair but wait for His hand to lift us up in due time. The Lord will change our circumstances and illuminate our lives.

The Great Creator Is Our Help

"Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth."
Psalm 124:8

How fortunate are we to have the Creator of the whole world as our help! He who fashioned every little detail in you and me will provide, defend, comfort and strengthen us. Let us count on Him for all our concerns, because our concern becomes His when we take it to Him, and He perfects all that concerns us (138:8).

Be Tagged With God

"..the life of my lord will be bound securely in the bundle of the living by the LORD your God, but the lives of your enemies he will hurl away as from the pocket of a sling."
1 Samuel 25:29

If we let God to be our Proprietor, and be fastened with Him, then none can injure us. He will keep us secure under His care and protection, and cast away the foe and all our stumbling blocks. So we never have to take revenge over anyone but cast all our cares to Him. He will preserve us carefully and treasure up our soul for eternal life.

Sing To See His Judgement Upon The Enemy

"And the LORD will make his majestic voice heard. He will display the strength of his mighty arm.."
Isaiah 30:30

When we sing God's praise and rejoice in Him with gladness of heart (vs.29), then the Lord will raise His voice against the enemy and lift His mighty arm to beat down every power that works against Him and His children and break down any stronghold against us.

Broadcast His Glory

"I will speak of the glorious honor of your majesty, and of your wondrous works."
Psalm 145:5

Speaking of God's grandeur is an act of praise and worship. Let us never hesitate to be known as His worshiper nor feel shy to publicize His excellence. Let us not only adore Him silently but also speak of Him in our normal day 2 day discourses.

God Perceives Our Desires And Sighs

"All my longings lie open before you, Lord; my sighing is not hidden from you."
Psalm 38:9

Let us lay all our desires before God, because He examines them and determines what can be done. Let our longings always be right, because though we are mute, God Knows them all. He also understands the secret groanings of our shortcomings and helps us out. God will forbid open rebuke if we are sorry about the blemishes in our soul. He loves and heals the broken-hearted.

The Righteous Fall Heir To His Properties

"The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever."
Psalm 37:29

Sometimes, being right does not seem to help out, and the unrighteous seem to prosper. But there soon will be a time when the wicked weeds will be pulled out and we would reap the fruit of righteousness. As children of the righteous God, let us not fret but be patient in doing all that is right, for we are the legal heirs of His land. The land shall be our everlasting habitation.

A Road After God

"Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps."
Psalm 85:13

Being righteous in all our words and deeds is that which stands before God. Righteousness is His footstep, a pathway for us to follow. Let us do whatever is right with our time, talents, wealth and with our colleagues. Let us better choose a tougher one that is right than a flexible one that is wrong. Righteousness will help us to meet God and follow His ways, assuring us joy and refinement.

Love = Obedience To God

"And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love."

Putting the word of God into action is 'Love'. We can love God and men best when we obey His commands. Love and truth coordinate with one another, and we can love a person truly only it is in obedience and harmony to the word of God.

Nothing is too inferior for God to uplift nor too superior for Him to bring down. He can bring in a last-minute reversal order in any of our cause. All power in heaven and earth is His. We can always be courageous if we stand on God's side.

Priceless Promises

"..with your mouth you have promised and with your hand you have fulfilled it -- as it is today."
1 Kings 8:24

The promises of God should be the base of all our ambition, reliance and anticipation because God is an assured performer of His word. When His promises are our sustenance and pleasure, the fulfillment of them will be our diadem.

Lord, Do As You Said

"And now, LORD God, keep forever the promise you have made concerning your servant and his house. Do as you promised,"
2 Samuel 7:25

Let us first seek to know what God has promised us, treasure it as a promissory note, live in faith expecting it to be fulfilled and just pray, "Lord, do as you said." None of His promises will be broken. God delights in fulfilling His word for us. But it is in our part to keep praising Him for His promises, reminding Him about it until He accomplishes it.

Privileged To Work For The Proprietor Of The Universe

"To the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it."
Deuteronomy 10:14

How privileged are we to work for the proprietor of the universe! How favored are we to be His treasured possession among all His creations! How much should we seek to please and draw His attention towards us and be benefitted with all His goodness!

Be Righteous To Be Bold

"In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you."
Isaiah 54:14

As long as we stick on to righteousness, and are aware about our position with God, we will be least afraid of any terror or oppression, and nothing but God and His word can dominate us.

Praises Effectuate

"I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and have been saved from my enemies."
2 Samuel 22:4

We can be assured of God's intervention, when we call on Him with praises and thanksgiving. On the other hand we demean Him by complaining, lamenting and doubting, and let us not expect Him to work for us. Our praises determine the aftermath of our prayers, for He alone deserves our praises and we are emboldened to call upon Him when we thank Him for all His past goodness.

Just Fear God To Inherit

"He fulfills to desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them."
Psalm 145:19

When we fear God at all times and serve Him with an holy awe, He will lay His will and the flow of His longings in our hearts and grant our every desire. When we beseech His aid with all reverence, He is sure to answer and redeem us.

All From Him And All For Him

"For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever!Amen."
Romans 11:36

God is the spring and fountain of all, and all things are from and through Him. He is the source, sustainer and backer of all beings. So let all our words, thoughts and deeds be for Him and His glory. Let everything we do reflect His glory. Let our hearts be directed towards His honor and adoration. Whatever we begin to say or do, let God's glory be the end.

Break Your Silence, Lord

One word from God is all we need when we struggle. His word that created the whole world is all-powerful to defend us and silence our revilers. Let us entrust all our praises to God alone and dare to break His silence with a heart that is innocent and right before God.

The God Of All Our Hope Still Lives

"The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior!"

Though our fame, luxury, our loved ones, the world all may pass away, but the God whom we serve is alive and immortal, always there to refresh and restore us. As heirs of the living God, let us carry on with more and more expectations from Him, live upon our portion, making use of His fullness. May our souls revive to bless and extol Him, who is the assured footing of all our hope.

Heavenly Home On Earth

"..he blesses the home of the righteous."
Proverbs 3:33

Whatever little or more the righteous has, he has it with the blessing of God, which would be much better than the bounteous riches of the wicked. The home of the righteous would be a residence of overflowing love, joy and peace, an academy of spiritual practice and a venue of heavenly worship, with God as our permanent Guest, receiving all our honor and hospitality.

Prayer Based On His Name And Mercy

"Now you, LORD my God, defend me for your name's sake; because your gracious love is good, deliver me!"
Psalm 109:21

Let us plead with God to deal with us not according to our merit but for the glory and honor of His name. Let God undertake our cause and do whatever He thinks fit for us. Let us fix our eyes on His bounteous mercies to be redeemed from all our woes and bindings.

All is His And At His Dispose

"Who has a claim against me that I must pay? Evreything under heaven belongs to me."
Job 41:11

It is God's absolute grace to be courteous with us and to grant us any of His favor. We can never claim anything from Him by justifying ourselves or our cause. Every little thing on earth is His and at His dispose. Let us therefore wait with all humility to receive His favor without complaining, and receive with praise and thanksgiving whatever He grants.

God's Choice - The Best Choice

"The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance."
Psalm 16:6

When we have God for our portion, we are the most blessed ones. Let us not be disappointed when people do not give us the right space. Though we may not have things or life according to our own choice, it is God who determines our lot and it will surely be the best ones for us. He Himself settles down all our cause. Let us cheerfully accept His lot.

Liberates Gradually To Make Us Inherit Fully

"Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land."
Exodus 23:30

Though we may wish to see our adversaries and obstacles cleared all at once, God prefers to unblock them little by little so that in the mean time we learn to be totally dependant on Him, grow in His grace and strength to inherit His favor. Though God contributes us His favor, it is we who should take possession of it, for which we need daring faith and absolute obedience. This is what He teaches us when He drives away our problems little by little.

The Real Need Of Revival

"LORD, I have heard the report about You and I fear. O LORD, revive Your work in the midst of the years, In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy."
Habakkuk 3:2

We, the children of God need a great revival and re-animation from God so that the sea of flames of the Holy Spirit from within us ignites the society and brings new life all around. Let us not be inert or spriritually tired but have a towering hunger and thirst for the work of God in our midst.

Accomplish Everything With Him

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
John 15:5

Without God we can do not a single thing that would be of any worth. Let us with all humility totaly depend on Him, acknowledging His role in every single success of our lives and thus enjoy His entirety.

Be Not On Your Own Path

"Teach me your way, LORD; lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors."
Psalm 27:11

Let us not cater to our own way but understand the way that God would have us walk, because it would benefit our adversary who waits to deceive and devour us when we take the wrong direction. Let us not only ask God the map but also plead Him to guide and lead us in His way. Let us set our eyes on God alone and not on any of our circumstances, to be able to go in His path.

Favor For Pain

"It may be that the LORD will look on my affliction, and that the LORD will repay me good for his cursing this day."
2 Samuel 16:12

Let us never be angry with the device that causes us the pain but see God's hand behind it because not a word nor a weapon can be raised against His children without His knowledge. God thus prepares us for the mercies and goodness that He has in store for us and He will bring good out of all our pain.

Give God His Space

"For the LORD your God moves about in your camp to protect you and to deliver your enemies to you. Your camp must be holy, so that he will not see among you anything indecent and turn away from you."
Deuteronomy 23:14

To retain God's presence, grace and power with us, to save us from becoming a prey to our rivals and backbiters, and to overthrow any sin, curse or sickness that tries to cripple us, we have to abstain from any fithiness or impure works.

Happiness Is Our Cure

"A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."
Proverbs 17:22

God wants us always to be radiant and cloudless, so that we can have our life to the full and at the same time cheer up and encourage others too. We need to see life as God sees it. He always wants to bring good out of even our darkest times. We never need to be crushed down by our burdens but leave everything to God, who is always there to give us rest and peace.

Exhaust Your Hearts And Be Undaunted

"Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge."
Psalm 62:8

When we place our confidence in God always, we automatically tend to pour out our hearts to Him with all it's deep-seated secrets and desires in each and every move of our life. Then we can invariably feel His support and care at any point of time.

The Right Time is Now

".. I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation."
2 Corinthians 6:2

Tomorrow is never ours because we never know what will happen or where we would be. So let us take maximum advantage of His unconditional love and grace today, for He is there to answer and help us now(Isa.49:8). Let us therefore make it a point today to confess our sins to be forgiven and reach out to Him with all our failures in order to be blessed.

Valiant For Our People

"Be strong, and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The LORD will do what is good in his sight."
2 Samuel 10:12

Let us be bold enough to take position for the welfare of our family, society and nation, not for our fame but for the glory of God. Let us be hooked to do our best and leave the rest with God. Let us strengthen our loved ones in their spiritual warfare. God will work out victory in His own way and in His time.

God In Alliance With Our Friends

"The LORD takes my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me."
Psalm 118:7

We are not to put our confidence in men though they are our best counterparts, seeking our welfare, because it is the support and strength of God to them that makes our cause a success and makes us look in triumph at our haters. At the same time let us not be unmindful of our supporters but thank God for them and be thankful unto them.

"Wake up, wake up..! Wake up, wake up, break out in song! Arise..! Take captive your captives.."

Let us trigger our body and mind, gifts and talents, and all that is within us to sing God's praises. Why should we be dumb, while the whole universe that God created for us praises Him? Sadness undermines our potency, doubts and fears droops down our stability. But singing joyful notes unto the Lord makes us stronger. Let us therefore imprison all those and that ensnared us and our strength, and celebrate God's victory.

Irradiated By God

"The LORD is God, shining upon us. Take the sacrifice and bind it with cords on the altar."
Psalm 118:27

God has enlightened our spirits, delivering us from the power of darkness, rescuing us from the darkness of unbelief and ignorance, giving us future hopes of His glory. Let us therefore be drawn with His cords of love towards His altar and offer us as living sacrifices.

Our Soul's Strength, Our Foes' Weakness

"..O my soul, you have trodden down strength."
Judges 5:21

When our soul is strengthened by the grace of God, the strength of our spiritual foes will automatically be trodden down. God needs us to be strengthened in our soul so that we can be engaged in the advancement of His cause. It is He who does the fight. We just need His strength to move on. It is the power of God that empowers us to gain victory for His glory. Let us therefore not be timid but strong in our soul.

Surprising Changes In Our Lives

"He turned the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs;"
Psalm 107:35

God can make amazing break-throughs in the affairs of our lives which will be surprising. His goodness reforms our dearth into affluence.There is always hope for us in all decayed parts of our lives. Though the law of nature has no means to cure or renovate our circumstances, His grace can work wonders.

God's Promises Warranteed

"God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth."
Psalm 108:7

Let us rejoice in faith over God's promises for us, as if we have already received it, because once God has told, it is done. It is we who have to conquer it by faith. Let us with all passion get into action to attain all that He has consented to give us.

No matter what happens around us, our heart must always be determined to sing God's praises. We need to praise Him with our intellect, tongue, music , talent and with all that we have. Let His praise be deep-seated in our soul so that we glorify Him wherever we are and in whatever situation we are in. It is our glory when we glorify Him and not when we are dumb with our circumstances. Let our hearts be captivated with His glory and honor so that we never stop lifting up His name.

Our Plans Are Just Dead Ducks

"The LORD knows all human plans; he knows that they are futile."
Psalm 94:11

God knows all secret thoughts and plans of our mind and He knows that they are just vanity and nothing better than that. But His plans for our life is numerous (40:5) and His plans are to give us a hope and a future(Jer.29:11). Let us commit us to His plans and don't waste time planning, imagining and bothering. It is God who alone can bring all things to pass.

Face-to-face Encounter

"My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you."
Job 42:5

Let our pain and suffering not take us away from God but draw us closer to Him, so that we get a closer perspective of Him. May all challenges of our life lead us from a hearsay relationship with God to a face-to-face encounter with God Almighty, giving us a clearer view of the attributes of our living Savior that we never before knew of.

Be Performers Of His Signs

"They performed his signs among them, his wonders in the land of Ham."
Psalm 105:27

We are expected to declare the Word of God to the heathen and perform His signs and wonders so as to display the marvelous omnipotence of God. But every single work that we do should be in accordance to the Word of the Lord and as He commands.

Impediment Removed And Foe Subdued

"The sea looked and fled, the Jordan turned back;"
Psalm 114:3

When God is with us through our journey on thiis earth, leading our way, any sin or obstacle or evil that comes against us must tremble and give away their space for us to move forward, drawing back themselves, though it may be contrary to their usual nature. Nothing good is too great for us to achieve because every single impediment will be removed and every single foe will be subdued under our feet.

Unearth Your Treasure

"Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."

Let us make the Word of God our rule, dig deep into it nay and night to understand and observe it, and enjoy success and prosperity, it's by-products. God has already given us all our essentials. We need to carefully unearth them from the Scriptures and make them ours.
