Our Empty Graves

"He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay."
Matthew 28:6

We need not weep at our Lord's grave but rejoice with joy for it is now empty. Our sins slaughtered Him but His holiness resurrected Him. He has blown up death and come out triumphant, more than a conqueror. Let us shout aloud and leap for joy, for our graves too will be empty one day.

We own a God who is accessible and always ready with His helping hand whenever we call upon Him. All situations that drive us out of our comfort zone should draw us near to God. We have all liberty to call on Him wherever we are. Let us seek Him deiligently and get into acquaintance with Him.

Preying Upon Their Own Kind

"Beware of men.."
Matthew 10:17

God wants us to be on guard in this world, with appropriate vigilance and precaution. Let us never expect comfort, aid or strength from men around, especially from those in power, because our expectation might have to face a totaly different end. They usually seek moments to use chances against us and occasions to hurt us. Let us therefore avoid any indulgence that would give a chance to the worldly, political concerns, which are all deceitful measures. Let us not needlessly run into danger.

Monday 18 March 2013

God Can Refix Us

Eat The Fruit Of Our Mouth

"A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth, [and] with the increase of his lips shall he be filled;”

Let our speech be careful and wise, and be filled with grace, so that it satisfies our soul and also is beneficial to the one who hears. As a man eats the fruit of his labor, so shall he also eat the fruit of his mouth. We will have to partake of the harvest of whatever words we have sown. Our Fate Can Be Revised

"He made all the stars--the Bear and Orion, the Pleiades and the constellations of the southern sky."
Job 9:9

The science of astronomy, the arrangement of stars into their constellations, which is said to influence the fate of people, are all at God's appointment. They are at His disposal and it is He who administers their rising and setting. We can never assess His operation. He who made them and controls them can turn anything upside down (Amos 5:8). So let's rely on God for our everything and

not on fate or astronomy.

Do Not Fear Scorners, Liable To Rot

"Hear me, you who know what is right, you people who have my law in your hearts: Do not fear the reproach of men or be terrified by their insults."
Isaiah 51:7

If at all we have been disclosed of the righteousness of God, and if we agree to pursue it, and if we are the ones who are mentally soaked up with the Word of God,

with a will to surrender us to it, we never need to be agitated by the nasty digs and mocks of men and even of their persecutions, because such scorners are merely destructible men but we serve an omnipotent, indestructible God.
