God Upgrades Our Esteem and Sustains Us

"You will increase my honor and comfort me once again."
Psalm 71:21

We have gone through different kinds of agonizing troubles that have ruptured us into fragments. But our God promises not only to heal us and bring us back to our former reputation but also upgrade our greatness. Further, He will encompass us with His comfort and we will no more be annoyed.

God Contends, Substantiates, Acquits and Rehabilitates

"Stir up Yourself and awake to my right, and to my cause, my God and my Lord."
Psalm 35:23

We are agitated at times to take motives and run wild after those who harmed or falsely accused us. But let us appeal to the Lord to render us justice in everything in our lives. He will contend, substantiate, acquit and rehabilitate us, not according to our righteousness but His (v.24), when we can claim Him to be "My God", i.e. have a personal, intimate relationship with Him.

Every Single Blossom Will Bear Fruit

"I will rebuke the devourer for u, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the Lord of hosts."
Malachi 3:11

The Lord never wants the labor of our hands to perish but to flourish. He wishes that every single effort of us should yield a fruit-age. When we honor Him with our produce, He checks anything that could mar our turnouts.

Blessed Liberation and blissful Elation

"Oh, that salvation..would come out of Zion! When God restores the fortunes of His people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!" Psalm 53:6

God will soon bring all our misery to an end and exult us with His glory. He will not only free us from all our pitiless oppressions and painful burdens, but also hand over sovereignty to us, which would be a blessed privilege and blissful elation.

Arise and Shine

"Arise, shine, for your light has come and the glory of the Lord rises upon you."
Isaiah 60:1

Let us first admit the light of Christ to glaze through us so that the shadows of sin, depression and wretchedness might be driven away from us. Let us then be radiant enough to give love, hope and encouragement to those who are discouraged and hopeless.

God, the Initiator and Accomplisher

"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.."
Romans 12:2

To run our race victoriously, let us never turn to look behind, whatever commotion we might hear, lest we stumble on the way. Let us tune-up our eyes on Jesus, our goal. He alone who began His good works in us can make it complete without any flaw.

God Manifests Himself in His Appointed Time

"..Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." Mark 6:50

We often feel that we are halfway down the storming sea, anxious over our finance, health, future, job, children, etc. and are overwhelmed with dashing hopes, not knowing what to do. But no such adversity can hold back God's manifestation to His children in His appointed time. With Him, all will be set right and will go well.

God is our Safeguard, Rest and Triumph

"The eternal God is your refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you saying, "Destroy him".
Deuteronomy 33:27

In a world filled with perils, God is our shelter, protecting us from any outbreak, harm or disaster. In Him we find comfort, consolation, ease and rest. With Him we are guaranteed triumph over rivals however mighty they may be.

Our Adjudicator, Legislator, Ruler and Rescuer

"For the Lord is our Judge, the Lord is our Lawgiver, the Lord is our King; it is He who will save us."
Isaiah 33:22

God is our universal Judge who only can bail us out from all injustice. He is our Legislator who can get us off the hook from paying the penalties due to us. He is our King who can subdue all antagonists and preserve us from all dangers.

Harmonious homes

"My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest."
Isaiah 32:18

When God's Spirit is poured out, we will live in harmony with one another and be at liberty from all abuse and violence. We will not be disturbed physically or perturbed mentally. We will live on a standard higher than our circumstances.

Be at home under His wings

"I long to dwell in Your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of Your wings."
Psalm 61:4

Let our hearts always continue to live with the Lord wherever we are. Let us forever abide underneath His shelter and enjoy His protection and care. May His service and worship be our ceaseless task and may His grace be our never-ending comfort.

We will win God's credits

"..stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

1Corinthians 15:58

Let us not get upset over any criticism for our good works to the Lord, but be stable and busy with the work of God to the brim. We can be sure of winning His credits for each and every thing that we do according to His will.

Haven where no mischief can reach

"From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I."
Psalm 61:2

God is our solid rock to hide when we feel insecure. He is our tower of strength when we can not brace ourselves. He controls any situation when we can not deal with it. He is our haven where no mischief can reach.

God's shower of sure grace

"..His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, like the latter rain to the earth."
Hosea 6:3

God's grace comes down on us unaltered as the sun, helping us to spring out of our sins and pains. His grace is showered on us as the rain that enlivens us after long dry seasons. Though the shower of His favor on us is delayed, let us wait assuredly for it with confidence.

The Lord renovates and redecorates us

"The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow."
Isaiah 35:7

When we surrender our lives to God, He can clean up all our mess and remodel us to be partakers of His grace, joy and peace and renew us with His showers of blessing. He can wash down all our sins and sufferings and crown us with His glory.

Fear Nothing God knows everything

"..Be brave; do not be afraid. Your God will come with vengeance, with divine revenge. He will come and rescue you."
Isaiah 35:4

Though we are surrounded by hatred, fright and evil, we need not fear because God knows our every next step. He promises to come and pay back those who tormented us. Let nothing frighten or weaken our faith. He assures us divine deliverance.

Carry forward the work of Jesus

"..anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing. He will do greater things than these.."
John 14:12

Jesus calls each and every one of us who have been redeemed, to be a part of His great task of lading people to faith in Christ. Let us totally rely on Him and continue His work of sharing the gospel with prayers. This is the ultimate purpose of God in us. Let us get on with the work of Christ not to make fame for us but for the glorification of His name and kingdom.

No more affliction

"..He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time."
Nahum 1:9

Though we are not promised a path of rose-beds, we are promised deliverance out of each and every single trouble when we call upon God. We shall never be desolate when we trust in Him. He is there to break our yoke and burst our bonds(v.13). He will redeem our souls. Let us cheer up.

Achieve anything through His strength

"I can do everything through Him who gives me strength."
Philippians 4:13

With the dynamism and potentiality that God gives us, we can accomplish any kind of task in life. He gives us an innate capacity and inoculates His strength into us to make us rise above any situation. Let us not droop into any desperation, because we have His vigor in us. Good day

Faithful to thousand generations

"..He is a faithful God, who keeps His promise and is merciful to thousands of generations of those who love Him and obey His commands."
Deuteronomy 7:9

Our kith and kin, our finance and fitness may all fall short. But our God is faithful to sustain us through all alleys of life - to support, guide, comfort, cure & provide.

Ever awake and on guard

"..the One who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, He who watches..never slumbers or sleeps."
Psalm 121:3,4

There are a lot of moments when we get exhausted and get to rest, missing to take notice of any concealed deception or trap. But our heavenly Father is ever awake and on guard. Let us not be annoyed. He is ever watchful.

To walk in harmony - an admirable blessing

"..let him be acceptable to his brothers.." Deuteronomy 33:24

Walking in harmony with those around is an admirable blessing. Let us make haste to pardon those who hurt and insult us and also be cautious not to injure others with our words or deeds. Let us always be sweet-tempered and maintain unity with those at home and around.

Unfathomable and upright ways of God

..How impossible it is for us to understand His decision & His ways!
Romans 11:33

Although God's ways are unfathomable, they are always upright (Hosea 14:9). He overwhelms us by the wonder of His ways. Let us trust in Him and walk in the way He leads us and not stumble. Though we don't comprehend, He knows exactly what He does.

Downright obedience and absolute surrender

"..Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; Let it be to me according to Your word.." Luke-1:38

Though we can't fully understand God's plan for us, a downright obedience and absolute surrender is essential to have His will and might disclosed in us. Let us empty ourselves and give us over to Him so that He stuffs us with His grace and favor.

Hit for flop

"You make a wide path for me to walk on so that my feet do not slip."
2 Samuel 22:37

It is the Lord who gives us liberty from hardship, vindication from guilt and hit in all our flops. He promotes us to attain royalty not only for our benefaction but it is a fighting chance to serve God and care for people around us (Esther 4:14).

God exalts us after preparing us

"Humble yourself ..under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time."
1 Peter 5:6

Let us be willful to be undignified and low-set when God admits us to be so. God relishes to give us the choicest part, but at times allows us to be put down in order to make us accept His sovereignty. When we are compliant and prepared, He exalts us.

He will make us a joy of others

"..you have been forsaken and hated so that no one went through you. I will make you an eternal excellence, a joy of many generations."
Isaiah 60:15

Though everything around us seems miserable and infernal, the glory of God will shine on us. The Lord will bring all those who harassed and looked down on us to gain favor from us.

Thresh down mountains

"..I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; You will thresh the mountains and beat them small and make the hills like chaff."
Isaiah 41:15
God will renew our strength and lead us through ways we have not gone before. He will make us stamp down all massive problems and we can find no plight or plight-maker will exist in front of us
(v.1-16).

Do not recompense evil

"Do not say, "I will recompense evil." Wait for the Lord and He will save you."
Proverbs 20:22

God acts incredibly on our behalf when we wait for Him rather than seek to repay evil. Let us choose the good part of staying at His feet and He will make all those who were incensed against us to be ashamed and confounded (Isaiah41:11).
