Today's Endurance Tomorrow's Glory

"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."
Romans 8:18

We may be denied, despised and abused in life. But if we hang on to faith and endure tough times, we will be glorified in the end. Let us not forget that we are never alone in our sufferings but suffer with God as His heirs (v.17) and therefore will sure be glorified with Him.

Delight In God's Fatherhood

"And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you: your throne shall be established forever."
2 Samuel 7:16

Let us be sure of the lasting mercies and favor of God on us and our children. Let us enjoy the privilege of having the Almighty God as our Father forever and let us submit to be His children forever so that He will not take His lovingkindness away from us (1 Chronicles 17:13).

Hope, Patience And Prayer

"Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; constant in prayer;"
Romans 12:12

May the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace as we trust in Him, that we may abound in the hope of the glory of God through the Holy Ghost (5:2; 15:13). Let us patiently wait during our tribulation, with all hope for the things we don't see (8:25) and continue steadfastly in prayer until we get blessed (Gen.32:26).

Anticipate Ease When In Pain

"When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs. The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings."
Psalm 84:6

Let us move forward expecting moments of ease, comfort and peace even as we pass through areas of pain and distress. Our present troubles are just momentary, preparing us for great glory(2 Cor.4:17), when He will refresh our weary hearts with abundant showers (Psa.68:9)

Speak And Receive

"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he said shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he said."
Mark 11:23

Let us have faith in GOD, believe without doubt and speak things out and be ready to receive what we said. There is real power in the spoken word of faith. God, who created everything by His word, expects us to experience the power of words of faith.

God Knows Our Everything

"Why say you, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, My way is hidden from the LORD, and my right is passed over by my God?"
Isaiah 40:27

Let us not feel forsaken or be grieved in our spirit, for nothing that we go through is hidden from the eyes of the Almighty God (Heb.4:13). He who sustains the order of heaven and earth will turn our tables with all ease in His time. Let us just wait on Him (v.28-31) and be renewed in strength.

God Speaks Peace

"I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly."
Psalm 85:8

God alone can speak peace to our troubled spirits. Let us be cautious to listen to His voice and yield to His words in order to relish His peace and be careful not to turn to our own folly lest we lose it.

Don't Reject. Rejoice When Rejected

"The stone which the builders rejected has become the head stone of the corner."
Psalm 118:22

Beware not to reject any child of God because it is the law of God to make the rejecter become totally dependant on the rejected. Rejoice if anyone rejects you because it is the will of God to make you the prime foundation of his life.

Let God Adopt Our Work

"Let your work appear unto your servants, and your glory unto their children."
Psalm 90:16

Our own efforts can never redress our injury nor ease our distress but the demonstration of God's divine power and providence will bring peace beyond all understanding and our children will cognize His glory. Let us just stand still and permit God to deal with us and our affairs and see His glory.

Controlled And Steered

"O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man who walks to direct his steps."
Jeremiah 10:23

However great a man's post, power or status may be, he can never be the lord of his own will and intent but is controlled and steered by the Lord of all with or without his knowledge. Let man never boast of his diplomacy because he is overruled by his Creator.

Be Honored And Exalted Forever

"Although you have been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through you, I will make you an eternal excellence, a joy of many generations."
Isaiah 60:15

Though we had been abandoned and companionless, scorned and despised, with none to associate, God Himself will esteem us, making us feel honored and exalted forever. He will make us a subject of joy generation after generation.

Pleased To Bestow

"Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom."
Luke 12:32

Though we may seem negligible in comparison with the godless or other hypocrites, we need not fear, for the omnipotent God has undertaken our cause to provide, guard and guide us. It is His pleasure to give us His kingdom and how much more will He provide our other requisites. Let us not be concerned of earthly possessions but seek His kingdom.

One Word From God Will Do

"For he spoke, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing: he makes the devices of the people of none effect. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.'
Psalm 33: 9-11

God can change things or even create something in or for us by just one of His words. His purpose and design for us will be accomplished and no device of the wicked can harm us nor any counsel of the godless can dominate us.

One Word From God Will Do

Respects The Lowly

"Though the LORD be high, yet has he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knows from afar."
Psalm 138:6

Although God is great and all glorious, high and lofty, inhabiting eternity, He stoops down to look upon the lowly, analyse and meet out their needs, and He dwells with the contrite and humble to revive and restore their crushed spirit (Isaiah 57:15). All we need to do is be humble to draw His attention.

Universal Acknowledgement

"And their descendants shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the descendants whom the LORD has blessed."
Isaiah 61:9

The time is near when we and our descendants will be universally honored, acknowledged and esteemed as the ones favored of the Lord, blessed with all spiritual, physical and material blessing. Let us greatly rejoice in the Lord and exult Him for He has taken away our robes of sack cloth and wrapped us with robes of righteousness (vs.10).

My King Of Old

"For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
Psalm 74:12

If we claim and acknowledge the Almighty God to be our King and sovereign Ruler from the past ages, we will be privileged to enjoy all His love, salvation and providence. He is still the same God that can work out astounding wonders for the citizens of His kingdom. He is all-powerful to work out all that He wills. He can command deliverances and bring down bread from heaven.

Propose, For God To Dispose

"A man's heart plans his way: but the LORD directs his steps."
Proverbs 16:9

We need to have plans and proposals about our future and the plans have to be made with the influence of the Holy Spirit. God then decides and determines what all to carry out in our life, persuades us and whips into shape the final design. So let us make plans and wait on God to bring them to pass according to His will.

Be Sure Of An Answer

"Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice."
Psalm 55:17

God will certainly answer our prayers when our prayer is routine and frequent. Let us pour out the deepest feelings of our heart to Him and be at peace. Let us first figure out that there is no other way to receive our blessing rather than from God. Then our shameless persistence in prayer will bring down His sure favor (Luke 11:8).

Be Demarcated By Reforms

"..wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of your times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure."
Isaiah 33:6

God wishes to mark off the differences of our days from others by bringing about great reforms, making our foundations firm in the wisdom and knowledge of His doctrines and making us hold dear the fear of the Lord above all treasures, thus leading us to life, making us to rest contented, untouched by any trouble (Prov.19:23).

God Is Resolved To Work Out His Plan

"..He performs the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him."
Job 23:14

God is determined to fulfill His plan for us, plans to prosper and not to fail, plans to give us hope and future (Jer.29:11). Our loving Father has not destined us to wrath but for salvation through Jesus Christ(1Thes.5:9). Great is the depth of His riches. Tremendous and towering are His favor in store for us. Let us just wait on Him for His plan to be accomplished in our lives.

Be Blessed Of God

"For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth.."
Psalm 37:22

We, as children of God enjoy all our blessing ONLY from God and never by chance. God will honor our hope in Him and bless us(v.9). Let us confide in His Word and wait on Him to reveal Himself to us in due time, for the display of His grace and execution of His promises.

Break Forth Into Singing

"Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD has comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted."
Isaiah 49:13

The whole of universe rejoices for God has started to renew and revive everything, comfort and have compassion on us, making all our ruins, deserts and wastelands to flourish. Let us give thanks and sing aloud for Him (51:3).

Make Christ Known Through Love

"By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another."
John 13:35

Christ will not be known through us to men around by our rites, rituals, traditions, festivals nor by what we wear or speak but by the genuine love we show to them, irrespective of their caste, creed, religion or status. We ought to love people as if they are our own brothers and sisters.

Be Filled With Laughter And Shouts Of Joy

"Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the nations, The LORD has done great things for them."
Psalm 126:2

God will soon turn all our mourning into dancing, making our joy abound that we can't contain ourselves. His favor for us will be so great so that it will not go unnoticed by people around. Let us thank, praise, sing songs of acclamation and not forget to declare aloud all the goodness He has done to us (Psalm 107: 1, 2).

Yield To His Wisdom And Strength

"He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who has hardened himself against him, and has prospered?"
Job 9:4

God is all-powerful to accomplish His purpose in our lives. We can never resist His will and prosper. We can never confront His flawless wisdom and supreme strength. Let us not harden our hearts but yield us totally to do His will.

Chosen To Enjoy All His Goodness

"Blessed is the man whom you choose, and cause to approach unto you, that he may dwell in your courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, even of your holy temple."
Psalm 65:4

Blessed are we whom God has chosen to have intimate fellowship with Him, treated as His sons and daughters to enjoy all benefits of the Father in heaven. Let us make full use of the love, mercies and grace of His presence by first cherishing it for ourselves and then sharing it with others.

Answers By Awesome Deeds

"By awesome deeds in righteousness will you answer us, O God of our salvation; who is the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea"Psa.65:5

At times God answers us in such a way that will astonish us and make us revere and worship Him. There is nothing in us to be self-confident but we always ought to confide in the Almighty God who will one day be remembered by all the ends of the earth and be bowed down by all the nations (22:27).

Total Restoration

"And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to restore them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them."
Zechariah 10:6

The hand of God will be established with us to strengthen us (Psa.89:21). He will save us to be members of His family (Jere.31:1), forgiving, totally forgetting all our past iniquities. He will be our Father God, ready to receive our prayers.
