Unfathomable Blessings

.."No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him."
1 Corinthians 2:9

None can perceive and understand the value and beauty of the blessings that God Himself has prepared and holds in reserve to those who love Him. So great is His goodness in store for us (Psa.31:19). Let us seek Christ to receive all the fulness of grace, strength and life that are treasured in Him and get preapred to receive His bounty.

Be Hearers And Doers And Be More Blessed

"..more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice."
Luke 11:38

We need to be hearers and keepers of the Word of God to be more blessed, even greater than the favor of the mother of the Savior (v.37). His Word in our heart is more valued than Himself in the womb of His mother. What a privilege then to be called His own mother and brothers (8:21)!

Listen To Live

"Give ear, O heavens, and let me speak; And let the earth hear the words of my mouth."
Deuteronomy 32:1

God commands His lifeless creatures to listen to Him to either pour forth or hold back His favor towards us. The angels and men, the inhabitants of heaven and earth ought to be more attentive to the Word of God and more obedient than the inanimate creatures, which never rebel against it's Creator. Let us listen to Him that we may live a blessed life (Isaiah 55:3).

Cloudless Life With Growing Grace

"He is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings grass from the earth."
2 Samuel 23:4

When Jesus Christ is manifested in our lives and shines into our hearts, all our darkness of sins and tribulations will pass away, the Spirit of God will keep flowing into our hearts and our lives will be filled with the glory of God forever more.

Yearn For His Manifestation

"..His going forth is as certain as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth."
Hosea 6:3

Let us eagerly yearn for the Lord to reveal Himself as the dawn which will continue to grow brighter as the light of the day. His manifestation will refresh us, render us fruitful, revive, beautify and make us glad.

Make The King Glad To Win His Favor

"In the light of a king's face is life, And his favor is like a cloud with the spring rain."
Proverbs 16:15

Never does our own might or effort make us see better days or give us the victory in our lives (Ps.4:6; 44:3), but the cheerful, bright countenance of the Lord that refreshes our lives. Let us therefore always seek to bring joy to the King of kings and be abundantly blessed.

Be Planted In His Presence To Flourish

"..I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the lovingkindness of God forever and ever."
Psalm 52:8

Let our habitat always be in the presence of God so that we can draw our nourishment from Him even during drought and always flourish, not letting anyone or any situation pluck us out, trusting in His eternal grace and not in worldly riches or strength (v.7).

Shout For Joy

"The north and the south, You have created them; Tabor and Hermon shout for joy at Your name."
Psalm 89:12

The furthest extremities of the world are in God's control. The nature in all it's beauty and grandeur bow down before the Creator, bursting into song and shouting for joy at the name of the Lord. How much more should we who are made in His own image adore and shout for the King of kings!

His Word Enlivens And Enriches Our Lives

"For to the snow he says, ‘Fall on the earth,’ likewise to the downpour, his mighty downpour."
Job 37:6

God speaks to His creation and it is done. It is He who can enliven and strengthen the exhausted soul through His favor. He alone who enriches the earth can enhance and adorn our lives to the full. Let us acknowledge His sovereignty now and then, and tell Him that we are nothing but His workmanship (v.7) and we can do nothing without Him.

Pray To Hear The Answer Even Before It Comes

"..there is the sound of the roar of a heavy shower."
1 Kings 18:41

Our prayers should be whole-hearted, with all expectations, so that we can hear the sound of the blessings we need with our ears of faith even before it is rendered. The Lord is waiting to shower down His abundant rain to refresh and confirm us as His own inheritance (Ps.68:9). Let us not stop praying at the sound of the rustling but continue to pray fervently with humility until there is a down pour of the heavy showers (vs.42, 45).

Be Protected And Fed

"He will dwell on the heights, His refuge will be the impregnable rock; His bread will be given him, His water will be sure."
Isaiah 33:16

When we walk in His ways (v.15), we will be absolutely safe, inaccessible to the foe, protected from all dangers and snares, and be furnished with all requisites so that we will lives our lives to the full.

Live Through Him And Never Alone

"By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him."
1 John 4:9

God sent His only-begotten Son all the way down to earth for us. He went all the way through pain, death and to hell for us and our sins, but death or hell could not hold Him back because He was sinless. Now that He is risen and alive, He is determined to be with us unto the very end, so that we can live through Him and never alone.

Bless Him For His Blessings

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ"
Ephesians 1:3

Let us breakforth into praise, glorifying, magnifying and acknowledging God for all His blessings, which will make us blessed by the most high God again and again, with exclusive blessings in Christ Jesus.

Helps With His Own Hands

"He sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of many waters."
Psalm 18:16

Even if we are going through floods, we need not panic because our God keeps the floods under His control and sends His divine help from above. He grabs us out of any sort of danger with His own hands, out of which none can snatch His chosen ones out.

Help From Heaven

"He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth."
Psalm 57:3

God will even command heaven to yield to our help by sending His angels and His power in extraordinary ways. He will deliver us so as to reveal His mercy and to defend His Word, the Truth.

Heavenly Aid And Defense

"Bow Your heavens, O LORD, and come down; Touch the mountains, that they may smoke."
Psalm 144:5

God can make even the heavens to stoop down for our aid and defense, and appear for our sake in all His majesty, might and glory, to embarass the foe and relieve His faithful ones. A touch from God will blow off the mightiest of the world, burning them to ashes, never again able to be revived.

Prayer For Divine Manifestation

"Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down, That the mountains might quake at Your presence..To make Your name known to Your adversaries.."
Isaiah 64:1,2

Let us ask God not only to look down from heaven (63:15), but also for a visible display of His power, to declare His love for us and manifest His goodness and power through visions, dreams and miracles.

Poor Before The KING

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
Matthew 5:3

If and when we start feeling that nothing is of our own and that for every single thing we are dependent on the providence of God, it is then that we start enjoying the real benediction of the kingdom of heaven on earth. Let us be glad to be poor before our King and publicize that we are always reliant on His riches.

Recreation And New Life

"You water its furrows abundantly, You settle its ridges, You soften it with showers, You bless its growth."
Psalm 65:10

God's showers of blessing on our hardened hearts makes them soft, and His showers on our droughty areas makes them yield, thus recreating and bringing new life to all the dead areas of our health, finance, family and spiritual life.

His Providential Preparations For Us

"He covers the heavens with clouds; he prepares rain for the earth; he makes grass grow on the hills."
Psalm 147:8

So great and marvelous are the providential arrangements and preparations of God for our goodness. He showers down pleasant rain from the dark, unpleasant clouds. He will bring forth fruits of joy and glory out of our afflictions and clothe even the most barren areas of our lives with His splendor.

Divine Beneficence From His Abode

"He waters the mountains from His upper chambers; The earth is satisfied with the fruit of His works."
Psalm 104:13

God pours His divine beneficence of His love, grace, guidance and providence from His abode on high, not only satisfying all our needs - spiritual, physical and material, but also making us radiant and bountiful.

Celestial Favor

"The LORD will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow."
Deuteronomy 28:12

The Lord is ready to refresh us with His celestial favor, pouring out His early and latter rain, and make our circumstances affluent, so that we can be of help to those in need.

Replace Yours By His To Win His Favor

"Then all your people will be righteous; They will possess the land forever, The branch of My planting, The work of My hands, That I may be glorified."
Isaiah 60:21

Let us enjoy the privilege of being God's peculiar people, inheriting all His blessing and displaying His splendor by replacing our own will, righteousness, holiness, etc by His, thus winning all our surroundings for God.

Time For Heaven To Meet Earth

"Truth springs from the earth, And righteousness looks down from heaven."
Psalm 85:11

God, in all His righteousness looks down anxiously on us to fulfill His promises, that seemed concealed and undone in our lives, to pop up and yield their harvest shortly. Let us, with all confidence, eagerly expect His favor in areas of our lives in which there was no hope of revival.

Showers To Flourish Us

"May he come down like rain upon the mown grass, Like showers that water the earth."
Psalm 72:6

The blessing of the King of kings showers down upon us to refresh us and cause to grow and flourish, taking away all areas of dryness in our lives, yielding an abounding abundance out of our least efforts (v.16).
