Spiritual Prosperity Leads To Total Prosperity

"Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers."
3 John 2

Let us feed on the Word of God, meditate it day and night to prosper in our soul and be successful in all our ways (Josh.1:8), thus gaining perfect health and prosperity physically, materially and emotionally.

Our Wants In Contrast With That Of This World

"Many are saying, "Who will show us any good?" Lift up the light of Your countenance upon us, O LORD!"
Psalm 4:6

Man always needs more and more out of this world and is never satisfied with what he gets. But our real riches and joy can be drawn only from the presence of God, which gratifies our soul. Let us discover the love and comfort of His presence. Our longings should always be in contrast with those of this world for though we are in this world, we are not of this world.

God's Favor Overflows Even Unto Our Children

"The children of your people will live in security. Their children's children will thrive in your presence."
Psalm 102:28

God's favor flows on our children when we are charitable, fear God and when we are just and upright (37:26; 103:17; 112:2). God not only promises to bless and establish us but also to conserve our generation. His favor flows on us as a river and overflows down to our children.

The Light That Leads To Life

"..I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."
John 8:12

Jesus Christ is THE Light (not 'a' light) of the world, not to Christians alone but to everyone. But some of us have found Him, while the minds of many are blindfolded. If we follow Him, we will be led to abundant and eternal life, shunning all our darkness of distress, sicknesses and depravity, and being filled with His joy, peace and love, that no one could ever snatch away from us.

Word Of God = Light + Life

"The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it."
John 1:5

Jesus Christ is the Word of God, the Light and Life (v.1-4). When the Word is spoken into our darkened hearts in times of depression or sorrow, we can not be overcome by that adverse situation but can easily overcome any situation. Let us personally enjoy the Light and have Life within us, and pass it on to the world that is engulfed in darkness.

Prospers Our Task Through His Strength

"God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect."
Psalm 18:32

God girds us with infinite heavenly strength and power, making us more than conquerors, subduing our every foe under our feet (v.39). God removes all impediments in our way, making our way clear and prospers all our undertakings. Let us ascribe all our success to the most High God (2 Cor.3:5).

Total Deliverance From Lawful Imprisonment

"Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?"
Isaiah 49:24

Though we justly suffer sorrow, sickness, addictions, curses or other bondages because of our sins, transgressions, habits, genetic disorders or anything else for which we rightly deserve to be punished (50:1), our Saviour and Redeemer promises complete restoration and total deliverance however strong our captivity might be (49:25).

God's Covenant With Us And Our Children

"I will confirm my covenant with you and your descendants after you, from generation to generation. This is the everlasting covenant: I will always be your God and the God of your descendants after you."
Genesis 17:7

The Lord God of heaven and earth makes an everlasting covenant of grace with us and our descendants to make us exceedingly fruitful and bless us and our descendants with His inheritance (vs.6-8). God Himself originated the covenant and it will never fail. Let us honor and be obedient to Him as our King and God.

Seek God, Not Religious Traditions

"..I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings."
Hosea 6:6

Our Lord God is never interested in rituals and religious traditions. All He wants us to do is to love Him with all our heart, soul, strength and mind, and to love and be merciful towards men (Luke 10:27). If we really love Him, we will always be eager to acquire more knowledge about Him and His love for us (1John 4:8). He desires that we know what all He has accomplished and has in store for us, so that we will be filled with His favor and share it with our fellow beings.

No More Stumblingblocks

"I will make all My mountains a road, And My highways will be raised up"
Isaiah 49:11

God will remove all obstructions in our path so that nothing can prevent us from reaching His presence to be blessed. He will make all crooked paths straight, thus facilitating our journey towards His favor (40:4). He will cast away any stumbling block and direct us so that we will conquer (57:14), and He will lift up a banner for us (62:10).

Remind God And State Your Case To Him

"Put Me in remembrance, let us argue our case together; State your cause, that you may be proved right."
Isaiah 43:26

Let us remind God of His divine promises to us (Gen.32:9,10) and of His grace to forgive and to blot out our transgressions for His own sake (Isa.43:25). Let us plead Him to spare us for His love's sake.

Be Filled To The Brim With His Praises

"Let them praise the LORD for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them."
Psalm 107:31

Let us thank God for His love, grace, mercy, providence and for all His unique nature, thank Him for His wondrous works of creation, salvation, deliverance and sustenance. Let us thank him for everything and in everything because everything is His and without Him nothing can exist. Let our heart and soul be filled to the brim with His praises. Meditating on His goodness all day long will fill us with his praises.

Let The Owner Take Care Of His Property

"O LORD, how manifold are your works! in wisdom have you made them all: the earth is full of your riches."
Psalm 104:24

Abounding and extraterrestrial are the works of God, displaying His wisdom. Every single thing in earth is His and we own nothing. Let us confer the ownership to the Lord so that the Owner takes the whole responsibility of preserving and taking care of His subjects and His possessions.

Will Not Let Us Suffer Sickness

"And the LORD will protect you from all sickness. He will not let you suffer from the terrible diseases you knew.."
Deuteronomy 7:15

The Lord God our Healer will take every sickness away from us even though it may be hereditary or terminal, and will not let us suffer from any disease that we know of or have already experienced. He sent His only Son Jesus Christ, who carried our every sickness at the cross.

Take Your Pills To Be Healed

"My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words.Don't lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body."
Proverbs 4: 20-22

Let us take the Word of God as medicine by attending and inclining to it, not let it depart from our eyes and hearts so that we can experience a total physical and emotional healing. The more frequent we meditate His Word the more healthier we would be.

We Are Made Complete

"For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority."
Colossians 2: 9,10

If we believe that the whole Godhead i.e. the complete diety of God the Father dwelt in Jesus at His incarnation, now through our fellowship with Christ, we too will be filled with Him, all our imperfections be made perfect, all our wants be filled. We will rejoice in our weaknesses for we will be strong when and where we are weak.

Makes Us Overjoyed By His Works

"For you make me glad by your deeds, LORD; I sing for joy at what your hands have done."
Psalm 92:4

God's work in our lives today is as astounding as the works of His creation. The works of His providence and grace delights us to the utmost and makes us triumph, making our souls burst out with songs of joy.

Our Intimidator Is The Loser

"Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed."
Matthew 21:44

Anyone who tries to oppose Christ (or the body of Christ i.e. His children) is miserably injuring himself. But if Christ rises in judgement against those who actively keep hurting and abusing, even their chaff will not remain. So, as children of God, we do not need to react to any intimidation because the one who intimidates us is at the loss.

Receive Incredible Grace

"But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift."
Ephesians 4:7

Jesus who came down to earth in flesh was full of grace and truth (Jn.1:14). He bestows this grace on us not as a reward for any of our works, but as a free gift, and He wants us to receive this grace in incredible measures (Eph.2:6-8), so that we can reign in life with Him(Rom.5:17).

Your Righteousness And Way, Lord. Not Mine

"Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before me."
Psalm 5:8

Let us give up our ways and our self righteousness so that we can be led in His way and in His righteousness earned for us at the cross (2 Cor.5:21), that we may not let our foe triumph by taking a wrong step. When we are thus careful in walking in His ways we can always rejoice and sing over His kind protection (Psa.5:11,12).

God Determines Our Next Step

"I know, LORD, that a man's way of life is not his own; no one who walks determines his own steps."
Jeremiah 10:23

As God's children, we are absolutely under the hands of God, inspired, lead and influenced by divine providence. He delights in our ways when our footsteps are ordered by Him (Ps.37:23) and not acc to our own intention. We need patience to wait and then walk in His ways. But it will be worth waiting for Him to order our footsteps.

Be Pleased To Be Citizens Of His Kingdom

"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."
Romans 14:17

As children of God, we ought to pursue after His kingdom (Mat.6:33), which does not consist in superficial and ceremonial things but the real love, joy and peace that we are benefitted through the righteousness of Jesus Christ shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit.

Extraordinary Grace For Us

"Praise the LORD, for he has shown me the wonders of his unfailing love. He kept me safe when my city was under attack."
Psalm 31:21

We do not experience ordinary kindness of God as all common people experience but extraordinary and far beyond our expectations. Let us thank and praise Him, being assured of His absolute protection and favor in every area of our life.

Enriches Our Path With His Abundance

"You have crowned the year with Your bounty, And Your paths drip with fatness."
Psalm 65:11

God has encompassed each day of our lives with His goodness, surrounding everything that concerns us with His favor as a shield (5:12). When we let God take the journey ahead of us and we just follow Him, He enriches our path with His abundance of grace, health, joy and riches.

Makes Way Through Everything

"Thus says the LORD, Who makes a way through the sea And a path through the mighty waters"
Isaiah 43:16

We serve a God who interposes on our behalf, goes before us to overcome any obstacle on our way to rescue us and to make us stride any difficult path easily (51:10). He also makes way for us in wilderness, providing all our needs (43:19). Following His footsteps will safely lead us towards life (Psa.16:11).

The Only Course To Triumph

"Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures."
John 10:9

Jesus is the only way for us to be triumphant, the way of life (Ps.16:11). He is the refuge where we can safely take shelter (Dt.33:27), walk in all liberty (Ps.119:45) in fellowship with Christ, feed on His grace and precious words, enter into His rest and enjoy all His goodness(Ps.23).

God Can Never Tolerate To See Us Being Abused

"But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,' declares the LORD, 'because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares."
Jeremiah 30:17

Our heavenly Father can never endure to see us looked down upon or bear to hear anyone speak ill of us. He will soon show up to heal all our hurts and bring us into comfortable situations.

Not Just The Reward Of Our Labor But More

"You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as warriors rejoice when dividing the plunder."
Isaiah 9:3

God enriches us with His goodness, not only giving us the lawful harvest according to our toil, but according to the grace that Jesus Christ has earned for us at the cross, filling us with heavenly supplies of health and wellness, peace and gladness, and everything else that we need.

Word Of God Leads Us To His Favor

"Send out your light and your truth; let them guide me. Let them lead me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live."
Psalm 43:3

The Word of God is light and truth (Psa.119:105,Jn.17:17), and a Word from Him in time for us is as the light of His face shines on us (Psa.4:6), guiding us to His presence where we can enjoy all His blessings.
