Serve God And Nourish In The Riches Of The Godless

"But you shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: you shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall you boast yourselves."
Isaiah 61:6

God delegates to us the post of a priest to serve the King of kings and the God of all (Rev.1:6) and makes us beneficiaries of all the valuables of the godless (Isa.23:18;60:5-11), giving us their hard-earned riches, talents, power and glory. The darker the world around us goes, the more brighter will the light of God in us shine (Isa.60:2).

Listen To Shine

"Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear."
Matthew 13:43

We who are the wheat and not the weeds, have to grow healthy, not hearing the voice of our situation but the Word of God that says that we will shine as the Sun of righteousness (Malachi 4:2), and reflect His glory, which none can prevent from being visible. The Lord will soon bind all our injuries and heal our wounds and make us shine seven times brighter (Isaiah 30:26). Let us just listen to His Word in order to shine.

Listen To Thrive

"Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live.."
Isaiah 55:3

We need to listen carefully to God's word to delight in His goodness and abundance(v.2). The Almighty Father urges us to listen to His Son, the Word of God (Mat.17:5; Jn.1:1). The more eager we are to listen to His Word, the more blessed would we be(Pro.8:34).

Already Healed

"He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction."
Psalm 107:20

Our most loving heavenly Father sent His Word i.e.His only begotten Son (John 1:1, 14) to the earth to bear all our pains and sicknesses so that we may enjoy good health. His Word can melt down any horrible disease (Psalm 147:18). Let us revere God and His Word, relish in His healing rays and grow up in His grace as calves of the stall (Malachi 4:2).

Who Conquers The World?

"Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?"
1 John 5:5

None other than he who puts all His trust and confidence on Jesus Christ as the Son of God, in all His glory, fulness and grace, for every single need of His, not relying on Himself nor any other human, is the one who conquers the world, because God abides in him and he in God (4:15).

Sunday 26 January 2014

Be Influenced By The Holy SPirit

"For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace"
Romans 8:6

Our mind revolving around our situations, which are absolutely temporal will bring woe to us. Instead let our mind be
totally submitted to the influence of the Holy Spirit, who will make us understand that His power is greater than our circumstances(Job 32:8) and reveal to us the unseen, unheard blessings that He has for us in the near future (1 Cor.2:9-11).

Saturday 25 January 2014

Born Again Into Heavenly Realm

"They are reborn--not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God."
John 1:13

We who are born again into the family of God through His imperishable, living Word (1Pet.1:23), are not of this world as He is not (John 8:23). So nothing of this world - it's plagues, crisis, etc can never harm us. We are to overcome all hazards through the Word of God and gain victory through Jesus Christ who has already won everything for us at the Cross.

Friday 24 January 2014

Have Jesus For Your Share; Have Everything

"My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
Psalm 73:26

Let us always be aware of the fallibility of our flesh and the unreliability of our own heart. At the same time let our faith in God and His strength proliferate, and let us willingly take Him as our Friend and our own Share. He is the One who sustains, supports and strengthens us until the end and through Him there will not be a good thing that we cannot inherit.

Thursday 23 January 2014

Crave For God

"I stretch out my hands to You; My soul longs for You, as a parched land."
Psalm 143:6

Do our hearts yearn for God, igniting us with burning desires for Him? Let nothing but the presence of God appease us. Let not our hands alone but our hearts be stretched out towards Him so that we will be filled with His gracious presence which will bring all His goodness along with it.

Wednesday 22 January 2014

Partake in God's Banquet

"Man did eat the bread of angels; He sent them food in abundance."
Psalm 78:25

God is never stingy in granting His dainties. His banquet grants the finest stuff and that too in abundance. Let us make the best use of God's providence, cherish them and thank Him with all our heart. Let us gain full wisdom of His goodies and not miss out a single favor of His.

Tuesday 21 January 2014

Sue God At His Word

"Remember the word to Your servant, In which You have made me hope."
Psalm 119:49

If we have seized any of God's promises, it is now time for us to urge Him to treat us according to His Word. His promises are the greatest treasure for us (v.162). Jesus is always faithful to what He has said(Heb.10:23). Let us personalize and claim them. God will never disappoint our hope on His promises.

Monday 20 January 2014

Absolute Rest

"In that wonderful day when the LORD gives his people rest from sorrow and fear, from slavery and chains, you will taunt the king of Babylon. You will say, "The mighty man has been destroyed. Yes, your insolence is ended."
Isaiah 14:3,4

The Lord will soon bring all our tiresome agony and humiliating bondage to an end and give us absolute rest, which would be the end of the tyrant. God will do this with all vengeance and might on our oppressor that all mankind will come to know of our Savior and Redeemer (49:26).

Sunday 19 January 2014

Be Just And Fair, And Anticipate

"Thus says the LORD, "Preserve justice and do righteousness, For My salvation is about to come And My righteousness to be revealed."
Isaiah 56:1

Let us not tell God that we would be just and fair if He does something to us. Instead, let us hold fast and abide by His words in anticipation of what He is going to do to us very shortly, and be blessed of Him (v.2).

Saturday 18 January 2014

Perfect Restoration

"I will strengthen Judah and save Israel; I will restore them because of my compassion. It will be as though I had never rejected them, for I am the LORD their God, who will hear their cries."
Zechariah 10:6

Not because of any merit of ours but because of His mercies, God will restore and bless us in such a way that none of our old estates will be remembered anymore when we call on Him.

Friday 17 January 2014

Be Adorned And Exalted

"For You are the glory of their strength, And by Your favor our horn is exalted."
Psalm 89:17

The strength of the Lord made known in us is an adornment of honor and glory. His favor on us is our exaltation. His strength is perfected in our weaknesses (2 Cor.12:9) and our horn is exalted when we freely lend to the needy (Psalm112:9).

Thursday 16 January 2014

Give Up Than To Fight

"If anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, let him have your coat also."
Matthew 5:40

God wants us to endure pain for the sake of peace and avoid arguments. Let us never seek justice through the law of this world. Let us not avenge ourselves even when we have all the rights to do so. Let us be ready to give up even our valuable things rather than counteract with the rival. Let God vindicate our cause.

Wednesday 15 January 2014

Makes Us Glad Through His Works

"For You, O LORD, have made me glad by what You have done, I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands."
Psalm 92:4

The manifestation of God's work in our lives blows up our gladness that we can't keep quiet but sing out His praises. The manipulation of His guidance and the works of His grace and providence makes us feel as if we have won a great battle and are having great portions from it's spoils.

Tuesday 14 January 2014

No Need Of Any Supplement

"..in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority."
Colossians 2:10

All vacuous philosophies and flimsy traditions mess up and deprive us of all goodness. But we are complete in Christ in whom the fullness of God dwells (vs.9). As He is the head over all rule, we will never need any other supplementary supply of goodness other than Him.

Monday 13 January 2014

God's Covenant To Bless Our Descendants

"I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and kings will come forth from you."
Genesis 17:6

What a privilege to have God make covenant with us to bless us and our descendants (v.4)! He will multiply and make us fruitful in this very place where we are suffering at present, so that we will be able to forget all our past troubles (41:51, 52).

Sunday 12 January 2014

Win Favor And Reputation Easily

"Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart."
Proverbs 3:3

Let us shun any form of self-worship and bitterness away from us and be wrapped in grace and kindness. Let us renounce all pretense and be clothed in truth. When we make this the constant theorem of our life, we can easily win favor and reputation in the sight of God and man (vs.4).

Saturday 11 January 2014

Feeds Us With Kingly Delicacies

"The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live forever."
Psalm 22:26

If we are real seekers of God and His ways, we will be real singers of praises unto Him, because He feeds us with kingly delicacies by offering Himself as an atonement for our sins, curses, sicknesses and poverty. Let not our hearts faint of grief because everlasting joy is our share forever through Jesus Christ.

Friday 10 January 2014

Be Liberal To Receive His Bounty

"Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness;"
2 Corinthians 9:10

God expects us to be generous (v.6-9), so that He can be openhanded to us. When we sow seeds liberally, God will not only give us a good harvest but also give us back the seeds so that we can sow again.

Thursday 9 January 2014

Dare Not To Take God's Seat

"Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord."
Romans 12:19

Let us not dare to take God's position by trying to take revenge over anybody. We live in God's province and ought to commit our every single cause to Him. He is the best Judge and Administrator. He will repay in His own way and in His own time.

Wednesday 8 January 2014

Be Made A Darling In Place of Mockery

"For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the LORD; because they called you an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeks after."
Jeremiah 30:17

Are we a byword and a laughing stock to those around? (Psalm 44:13-26) God will pardon our sins, remove all afflictions, heal our wounds and make us comfortable and prosperous for sure, because if there is none to plead our cause (Jer.30:13), God Himself will defend our cause and redeem us (Psalm 119:154)

Tuesday 7 January 2014

Be His People To Be Beautified

"For the LORD takes pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation."
Psalm 149:4

God's people are those that are poor in spirit, humble and surrendered to His will, totally inclined to please Him. God takes pleasure in such people that He is honored and glorified in them. He beautifies the thirsty ones with His grace, joy and salvation. Though He loves all His people, He adorns the meek ones with everlasting victory.

Monday 6 January 2014

Get Ready To See His Wonders

"Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the LORD will do wonders among you."
Joshua 3:5

As we are moving towards the divine decree that God has in store for us, the one most important preparation that God expects us to do in order to experience His wonders is to live a holy life - a life pleasing to God. Let us be careful not to grieve God in our walks and talks and then be ready to experience His extraordinary care and providence.

Sunday 5 January 2014

None But God Can Light Up The True Light

"For you will light my lamp: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness."
Psalm 18:28

Only God can light up our lights when no one else can. And if God lights our light, He will turn all our darkness of frustration, deficit, instability, sickness into lights of peace, abundance, stability and health and none can blow it off and the light will shine forever.

Saturday 4 January 2014

Makes Bare His Holy Arm

"The LORD will show his holy power to all the nations. All the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God."
Isaiah 52:10

Let us pray that God manifests His work of redemption not in a corner but before the eyes of all people so that they will be able to recognize His power (v.9). These are the days when all the ends of the earth turns to Him and bows down before Him (Psa.22:27).

Friday 3 January 2014

Get All Lost Joy Restored

"Restore unto me the joy of your salvation; and uphold me with your free spirit."
Psalm 51:12

God is always ready and gracious to restore whatever we have lost. Let us ask God to revive us again and give us back the joy of our salvation. Being clothed with the garments of salvation and righteousness brings real joy to our soul (Isa.61:10). He not only restores but also sustains and preserves us by His Spirit that our foot may not slip and lose again.

Thursday 2 January 2014

Fear God Everyday To Be Blessed Everyday

"Let not your heart envy sinners: but be in the fear of the LORD all the day long."
Proverbs 23:17

Let us not think it hard about the pleasures and prosperity of the wicked because they are just a fading shadow. But let us constantly fear God which is the supreme duty of man (Ecc.12:13), and be blessed with wisdom, happiness (Prov.9:10; 28:14) and all blessings needed for a successful family - a father-like husband, an obedient and caring wife, God-fearing children, our finance, material, physical and spiritual blessings (Psa.128)

Wednesday 1 January 2014

Seize Till No More Can Be Gained

"..May the LORD bless his land with the precious dew from heaven above and with the deep waters that lie below;"
Deuteronomy 33:13

If we feel that we are the odd ones out in our family and society because we fear God and obey Him, let us rejoice, for God will still distinguish us from them (v.16) by pouring out the greatest possible abundance of heaven and earth on us. All we need to do is to seize God's blessings until no more can be gained.
