God not just sustains us, but affords us the joy of dwelling in His vicinity, enjoying His presence, grace and power. He imparts not only just our absolute essentials, but also profusely favors us, making our life remarkably happy and blessed.

Desire To Be Inspected

"Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."
Psalm 139:23,24

Let us ask God to thoroughly analyse us, so that we might not be under any trickery or false influence; that we may not delight in any cooked-up impressions. Let us distrust ourselves and ask God to take total control of our will and thoughts. Let us be put to investigation to find if anything in us alienates us from God and let us track down His path to life inflexibly.

We And Our Descendants - Blessed By The Lord

"They will not toil in vain or bear children doomed to misfortune; for they will be a people blessed by the LORD, they and their descendants with them."
Isaiah 65:23

None of our labor will be unfruitful nor will be devoured nor plundered. Instead, we will enjoy the fruit of our labor, and joy, peace and security will be the consequences for us and our children, for fearing the Lord. We will feel great and grateful to the Lord for parenting our children. They will be a blessing to us and the society and not a grief or trouble to us. The Lord will bless us and our offspring with spiritual and temporal blessing, and we will together serve Him happily unto the end.

The Only Love That Extends Forever

"..I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness."
Jeremiah 31:3

God chose us even before anything was created. He didn not need a reason to love us, but He loves us because He Himself is love. His love for us is not just momentary but extends forever. There will never be any shadow of variation in His love for us.

Utterly Unreliable

"Common people are as worthless as a puff of wind, and the powerful are not what they appear to be. If you weigh them on the scales, together they are lighter than a breath of air."
Psalm 62:9

Common men can never be depended upon, because they are more unstable, easily tossed here and there by their circumstances. They cannot help us even if they want to. Worse is the case with men of high degree. Meaningless and utterly unreliable are their promises. They don't even have time to remember their word. So, men altogether have no real weight; no real worth. They are unworthy of our trust and reliance.

Let us first pray, seeking God's strength, leadership and favor before starting a work. Let us realize our limitations and seek His unlimited providence. Let us not just pray and sit back, neglecting our responsibility, but get down into action. Nothing should frighten us from our mission. Let us cast all our cares, griefs and fears before God and be careful to carry out our duty.

Guides Us To Amity

"..God is not a God of confusion but of peace.."
1 Corinthians 14:33

We are often captivated with chaos and confusion, not knowing to choose the right option, thereby messing up with God's plan for us. Let us altogether depend on God to lead our every step. He will never guide us to dispute or unrest but into peace and harmony. He has the best plan for us. Let us not miss His divine purpose for us.

Great Miscalculation

" He thwarts the plans of the crafty, so that their hands achieve no success."
Job 5:12

When we are inside God's plan, submitting us and all our affairs totally to His way of doing things, we can rest assured that God will frustrate all artifice of the wicked against us. All their curious anticipation for our fall will be a great miscalculation. God always renders Him worthy of our confidence. By defeating all their evil designs, God will prove Himself to be our Friend.

Not Devoured

"If the LORD had not been on our side..they would have swallowed us alive;"
Psalm 124:1-3

If God is not with us, we have no chance to escape the pitfalls of life. His miraculous power saves us from the overwhelming schemes plotted against us and helps us to escape like birds out of the fowler's snare (v.7). With God, no foe or situation can defeat us.

Yearn For God With Expectations

My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
Psalm 130:6

Let us yearn profusely for the Lord, hungering and thirsting for His countenance. Our expectation for His visits of grace will never go in vain. Let our minds be passionately and permanently inclined towards Him until we receive His rays of comfort, mercy and peace.

God-given Responsibility

"And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD has commanded;"
Exodus 35:10

God, in His mercy, has allocated us the privilege of executing His own undertakings, filling us with necessary skills needed to carry them out. So let us not grumble or get weary over the task assigned to us or the location where we are planted. Let us be grateful for His grace and be sure to show His love and compassion to the people we are prone to serve. Let us get totally involved in the work assigned, thus fulfilling our responsibility to Him.

Our All-sufficient Portion

"I say to myself, "The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!"
Lamentations 3:24

God Himself is our portion and privilege. He is our own lot, all-sufficient for us. He is the source of all our joy and the ground of all our hope. He is our all in all. Let us therefore place all our confidence on Him and not on the perisihing portions of the earth.

God Is Restless For Us

"For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch."
Isaiah 62:1

God will not be buttoned up but function continuously on our behalf until He makes known our righteousness, salvation and glory to others around. He gives Himself to a prolonged effort until His mission for the promotion of our grandeur is fulfilled. He thus assures us of His never-ending love and His real concern to deliver us from all our trials and difficulties. So, as He is stirred up for us, let us be still to see His performance for us.

Shatter The Works Of The Oppressor

"You will bring justice to the orphans and the oppressed, so mere people can no longer terrify them."
Psalm 10:18

Whoever he may be, man is just frail and feeble before the Creator. God will interpose on our behalf, when we call on Him, being exploited, abused and suppressed. He will smash all authority and superiority of the tyrant, and thrash satan under our feet before long. Let us therefore fear no man but God.

Incessant Celebration

"..the cheerful heart has a continual feast."
Proverbs 15:15

Our life is packed up with loads of tensions. The next minute of our life is unpredictable and unreliable. But God does not want the joy of our life to rely on our circumstances but practice to delight in Him always regardless of our situations. He will provide all the desires of our hearts(Ps.37:4). A cheerful heart itself is a good remedy, that cures all obstacles of our life.

Shepherd Us To Content And Comfort

"They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat upon them. He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water."
Isaiah 49:10

When we seek God and plead for His mercy (Jn.6:35; Jer.31:9), He will abundantly satisfy all our needs whether it be material needs, or our longing desires for holiness, or our thirst for righteousness. He will lead us in paths we should go, protect us from tempests and guide us towards true comforts.

Greater Works

"..anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these,.."
John 14:12

God abides wth us, encourages us with His gifts and grace, and believes that we can effectively serve Him. Let us not disqualify ourselves, when He does not under-estimate us. Let us just be available for His service and He will use us mightily.

Sign In Before Procuring

"..Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you."
Joshua 3:5

God wants to carry out miraculous displays of His omnipotence in every sphere of our lives. But before that He wants us to make some pre-arrangements by setting apart our certain attitudes and habits and be inwardly clean and aligned to His will. We need to make sure that our hearts are pure and our desires are guided by His Spirit, to receive His special outpour on us.

Make Our Hearts His Home

"The LORD is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation: He is my God, and I will prepare Him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt Him."
Exodus 15:2

Our God revives us from the dead and strengthens our being. He alone can be the element of our song. He has saved us with an everlasting salvation. Let us feel privileged to own Him for ourselves, preparing our hearts for Him to dwell forever and worship and exalt Him in the beauty of His holiness.

Grow In Grace And Knowledge

"..grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.."
2 Peter 3:18

Let us not remain babies forever, boasting of the grace we once received. An old baby will be an annoyance to his parent. Let us not annoy our Creator and Father God, but be stirred up by His grace every morning, improving and increasing day by day. Let us also labour hard to know more of Him, so that we turn to be like Him and can represent Him more eloquently in our surroundings.

Time - The Chief Commodity In Our Hands

"Be very careful.. how you live - not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity.."
Ephesians 5:15,16

Time is the most valuable possession with us, totally under our control. Let us not waste our time in senseless recreations, but be diligent to use the utmost of our time and strength for the One who gifted it to us. Let us not be ignorant of our responsibilities, but redeem time, embracing every opportunity to seek His glory, edify ourselves and our loved ones and for the salvation of the souls around us that are speeding towards destruction if front of our own eyes.

Incalculable, Boundless Supplies

"You visit the earth and water it; You greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water;You provide their grain, for so You have prepared it."
Psalm 65:9

All human resources are always finite and prone to break down at any point of time. As we call and wait on God, He drops in, evaluates our needs, drenches us with His showers, prepares us for the harvest and then blesses us with His infinte benevolence.

Be After God One Hundred Percent

"The land.. will be your inheritance and that of your children forever, because you have followed the Lord.. wholeheartedly."
Joshua 14:9

Let us wholly follow the Lord, closing the gap if any. Let there beno disagreement between us and the Lord and let us check any interruption inbetween. Let our every move be after Him and let our every single corpuscle belong to Him. Then all God's favor will be settled on us and our heirs.

Remodelling Us

"..Behold, I make all things new.."
Revelation 21:5

No matter how much harm and emptiness we find in us now, God can make us new. He wants to renovate us, making us a absolutely new person, bestowing His new glories upon us, with His full-blown reign over us and all our concerns, making us His precious jewel, pure and clear (v.11) with nothing shameful in us.

It's Gone

"You will forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by."
Job 11:16

Running waters are gone forever. So is our trouble. Our problem threatens to sweep us away. But God makes it pass away swiftly and it will never recur again. On its flow, our misery cleanses us thoroughly, making us totally new for God's new showers.

Earnest Prayer

"O Lord, listen! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, hear and act! For Your sake, O my God, do not delay.."
Daniel 9:19

Let not our prayers be a vain repetition but earnest and wholehearted, so as to draw God's attention. Let us plead for His pardon so that we are broken free from all bondages of the past and are ready to receive His future blessing. Most importantly, let us seek His glory in every favor that we gain.

None Like You, O Lord

"Who among the gods is like You, O Lord? Who is like You - majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?"
Exodus 15:11

There is none like our Lord God, perfect in Divine nature. Every work of Him is mighty and marvelous. We are so unworthy for His favor, but His are the works of pure grace and wonders of His power. Let us humbly praise and adore Him. Let us approach His presence each moment with the deepest reverence and be specially blessed like none others around us.

Overpower All Prohibitions

"I will go before you and will level the mountains.."
Isaiah 45:2

When we trust in God and let Him go before us in every situation of our life, we need not worry of the direction we ought to take. He will go and pave the way before we travel down it. He will remove all barriers and hazards out of our way and cause us to subdue all stumbling blocks. He will take us in the path of life, where we will find the fullness of joy and the pleasures of His presence with us.

Be Shepherded Into Green Pastures And Peaceful Streams

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall have all that I need."
Psalm 23:1

Let us take God to shepherd us so that He will guide, provide and protect us. Let us be careful to follow His steps, hear His voice, have total confidence in Him and choose to get closer to Him each day. He knows our every need. Let us rely on His ability and not ours to win our bread. His plans for us are innumerable and His love for us is immeasurable. May God bless, exceedingly multiply and fulfill all His plans for us.
