A Single Seed Can Make A Forest

"There shall be a handful of grain in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like the grass of the earth."

Amidst all our doubts and fears, clouds and darkness, confusions and battles, let us ask God to lead us and also be ready to follow Him. He will guide us with all grace and providence, with the counsel of His own will until we reach His glorious target and fulfillment.

Preserve And Propogate With All Purity

"I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand.."
Isaiah 51:16

God has accredited us with His Word. We ought the preserve the chastity, virtue and potency of it and b careful to pass it on with all honor and purity to others around and to our future generation. We shall be defended by His power and providence.

When our heart is accessible to the Word of God, it enlightens our soul, giving us the knowledge of God's mind, of His fulness, love and might, expelling all gloominess from within. It makes us understand God and His divine ways. So even if we are regular readers of the Word of God, we need to unfold our hearts from any narrow-mindedness in order to receive His light.

Guards And Preserves Unto His Kingdom

"The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen."

As we are in the last days, let us ask God to guard us from apostasy and from any evil plan designed to make us unfaithful. He alone can keep us from sinking under any sin or trap. Only He can preserve us unto His kingdom. Let us give Him the glory for all that He has done and for all that He has in store for us.

Revival To Rejoice

"Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?"
Psalm 85:6

God alone can revive and refresh us, thereby attesting His love for us when we call on Him. He alone can help us to be firmly rooted in Him and rejoice in Him, which gives us the utmost joy. Even for us to dwell close with Him and worship Him incessantly, we cannot do it ourselves but need His revival (Psalm 80:18).

Manifestation Of God's Love

"He will love you and bless you and increase your numbers.."
Deuteronomy 7:13

God, who has already loved us will continue to love us and give further instances and proofs of His love for us. His love will be manifested in blessing and multiplying us. His love will be revealed even more by significant unfolding of His favor in all other areas of our life i.e. blessing upon the fruit of our body, fruits of the field and of the cattle, and above all spiritual favor by revealing Himself to us (John 14:21).

No Humiliation Seeing Genuine Hope

"No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame.."
Psalm 25:3

When we wait on the Lord for His favor, we shall never be abashed of our anticipation and hope. Let us place our total hope in God, counting on Him to do what is right and best for us even if it is at odds from what we actually expect. His ways are higher and superior but varied from ours and always the best for us and will never bring us any disgrace. Why then don't we be willing to give up our longings in exchange to what He wants to give us? And that would be our genuine hope in Him.

Listen To Live

"Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David."
Isaiah 55:3

We shall thrive if we keep God's laws and cherish His promises. Let us practice to live upon His Word so that we can be benefitted with all that He offers us. Every goodness and mercy that we need are already purchased by Him, sworn in Him and provided by Him. Let us therefore have a lowly heart to accept His Word and thereby embrace His offers.

Ask For The Choicest Favor

"..Give me a blessing..give me also springs of water.."
Judges 1:15

Let us not be disappointed with what we have but think over about how to make fruitful the gift that we already have. We are fortunate to make any reasonable request to our loving Father, who always looks in for a fighting chance to bless us. Let us first know what we need and never hesitate to ask Him for the choicest favor and it will be done.

Seek His Mercies And Tenderness

"Do not withhold your mercy from me, LORD; may your love and faithfulness always protect me."
Psalm 40:11

Let us continually seek for endowment and protection from the Lord lest we be undone. Let us see that nothing hinders His mercies and tenderness showered upon us, without which we would feel let down in this world. It is His loving kindness that upholds us through all our ups and downs.

Directs And Escorts Us Into Truth

"When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future."
John 16:13

The Holy Spirit not only comforts, sustains and motivates us but also guides us wholly into all truth, keeping back nothing valuable, for He will also show us the things to come. He will not just give us the knowledge of the truth but also make us taste it's tinge in our hearts. The works of the Holy Ghost in us is beneficial to us beyond words. We need to give our acceptance to Him, and zealously yearn for Him to start all His good work in us.

Love, And Be Sons Of God

"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God."
1 John 4:7

God is the originator of love and is full of love, while hatred, envy, anger, etc. have their origin else where and they are never from God. Let not God's love in us be sterile and ineffective. Let us now and then gain fresh force of love that flows from His presence and regenerate it by passing His love to others around. The more we love others, the more we have God and His love within us, and therefore can assuredly claim to be sons and daughters of God.

Changed Into His Own Image And Likeness

"And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."
2 Corinthians 3:18

We are endowed to see a clear view of God's glory, His perfections and plans through the gospel. His Spirit will help us change into His very image, renewing and transforming us everyday, by placing ourselves within the light of the gospel. The more we observe His splendor and glory, the more we will reflect it, going from one degree of glory to another and attaining strength to strength until we finally gain His own image.

God's Own People

"For the sake of His great name, the Lord will not reject His people, because the Lord was pleased to make you His own."
1 Samuel 12:22

Though we owe no merit but just deserve to be hurled out of God's presence, He will never disclaim us, but instead preserve, defend and acknowledge us as His own for His own name's sake. Let us therefore be faithful and loyal to our Father God, embrace Him and go down the line with Him to serve Him with all our heart.

His Absolute Righteousness

"Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the highest heavens. You have done such wonderful things. Who can compare with you, O God?"
Psalm 71:19

Transcendent and absolute is the righteousness of God, that we can assuredly confide in Him in our frailties and anxieties. One of the greatest work of His righteousness is that He makes us righteous too. Every work of Him is unique, carrying His wisest purpose. Let us always be in His presence adoring Him and all His works that are surpassingly extraordinary.

A Fit Witness To The Most High

“..having obtained help from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great.."
Acts 26:22

When we totally yield ourselves to God, He will start using us and we can never stop witnessing Him to any rank of people we come across. We need the strength of the Holy Spirit and also His continuous instructions to be able to witness. We need to sit at His feet, have a clear view of Him for ourselves, be filled with His love for us and then our love for Him will prompt us to do the work, making us a fit witness to the Most High God.

Have But One Hope

“And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in You."
Psalm 39:7

For what are we lingering, sticking around and pursuing these days? Are we waiting for somebody to aid or comfort us? Everything else but God is altogether vanity and the world offers nothing to our anticipation. Let all our slips and setbacks drive us towards the Lord, in whom alone we can find goodwill for us, grace and glory. We will never be ashamed for putting our hope in Him.

Hope Begets Courage

"Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety."
Job 11:18

When we have a well-grounded hope in the Lord, nothing can disturb us or make us fear. Our hope in Him will encourage us to look out for a better future, awaiting all supplies from the Lord and we can rest in perfect security. There shall be peace all around us and we shall be hedged and protected by His power and pastured by His providence. Let us just have our strong hope in our living Redeemer and be confident that our life rests in Him.
