When we seek God privately, with full of thirst and desire for Him (vs.1), He will manifest His presence, power and glory to us publicly. Then will we be satisfied as with the richest feast and be filled with His praises. We who have allegiance to Him will be honoured and those who acknowledged false beliefs will be silenced (vs.5,11).

We are instructed(as in the Bible) to pray in private, but can we voluntarily or when inquired, tell people that we pray for them? (Fasting Prayer would be a separate case)
